As we look ahead to our nation’s 250th birthday in 2026, it’s important to remember the sacrifices of our founding fathers and mothers.

This special event will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8 in the Places Manhattan Room at John Knox Village.

We'll explore meaningful ways to adapt how you experience and enjoy the season, offer ideas for honoring your emotions, and create space for open conversation in a welcoming environment. Take-home resources will also be available. Family and friends are warmly welcome.

The 2025 Garden Festival was one for the books. Thanks to the volunteers, staff, and generous residents who made it all possible.

From homegrown veggies to handmade garden beds, this event is about more than fresh produce—it’s about community, creativity, and giving back. Proceeds from this year’s Festival will once again support the John Knox Village Foundation and help make gardening more accessible for all, including residents with physical challenges.

Every dollar donated, every tomato picked, and every hour volunteered made a difference. It truly takes a Village—and we’re so proud of ours.

There’s something fishy going on at The Pavilion—and it’s not just the salmon.

“Millie Monka and the Salmon Cannery” is a laugh-out-loud twist on the classic melodrama, complete with an unexpected villain, a not-so-heroic hero, and a heroine who doesn’t need saving. Written by Flip Kobler and Cindy Marcus and performed by our resident JKV Community Theatre, this quirky comedy promises surprises, satire, and a whole lot of heart.

Join us for one of three performances, including a special dinner theatre night on Friday, Oct. 24. Whether you’re in it for the laughs, the lively characters, or the community fun, this is a show you won’t want to miss.
