John Knox Village recently celebrated the grand opening of the Daniel D. Rexroth Recreation Center! Named in honor of former President and CEO Dan Rexroth, this incredible new facility is dedicated to expanding opportunities for our residents to pursue healthy, active living.

Decked out in green for St. Patrick's Day, residents and community members joined us for a fun ribbon cutting ceremony followed by a special tour of the space.

We love seeing our residents stay active, connect with neighbors, and enjoy everything Village life has to offer.

As resident Tom Lovell put it, "This is a very exciting time as we add this opportunity for residents to stay active and maybe enjoy a new sport."

The John Knox Village Community Theatre continues to bring creativity, laughter and a little mystery to the Village with its latest production, "And Then There Was One" — a playful spoof filled with twists, turns and plenty of fun.

From rehearsals to curtain call, our talented resident cast showcases the vibrant arts culture that makes the Village such a special place to live.

Residents at the Village Care Center enjoyed a lively jazz combo performance on Wednesday, featuring our own Director of Home and Community Services, Michael Stoker, on saxophone and flute.

He was joined by Jeff Shirley Jazz, a Kansas City jazz guitarist, composer, and founder of The Jeff Shirley Trio.

The performance was sponsored by Hospice by John Knox Village, bringing an afternoon of great music and enjoyment to our residents. 🎶

Bourbon Street came to John Knox Village as residents celebrated Mardi Gras with all the flair of New Orleans! The evening featured a lively dance line, delicious King Cake, and the high-energy sounds of Big Time Dueling Pianos.

More than 200 residents joined the festive fun, enjoying beads, bling, and plenty of laughter along the way. It was a joyful celebration filled with music, movement, and community spirit!
