We took a trip down to Union Station Kansas City to experience Titanic The Exhibition 🚢
From the ballrooms and decks of the old ship, to learning the stories of those who were onboard, all the way to seeing the artifacts left behind from one of history’s most tragic events, this outing was certainly one to remember🛟⚓️

Congratulations to Kaira- our "Great 8 Champion" for the month of January!January’s Great 8 word was Purpose-Driven. Kaira was nominated by her peers because of the way she interacts with our residents, and how she is willing to help in other departments because she is a team player.
Kaira has worked at Silverado Lee’s Summit for almost ONE year! 👏🏼 Outside of work, she likes to hang out with her nephew, friends, sister and boyfriend.
Kaira was also just recently promoted to a Lead Caregiver!

Today our leadership team traded meetings for maternity vibes as we celebrated TWO amazing moms-to-be. We are so excited for our Administrator, Jordan, as she prepares to welcome her baby boy💙, and for our Family Ambassador, Alicia, who will soon be welcoming TWINS — a sweet baby boy and girl!💙🩷

We had two wonderful visitors join us from our corporate team - Le, our Regional Vice President, & Wendy, our Regional Director of Sales. Moments like these remind us that we are more than a workplace - we are a family🫶🏼

Love was in the air today at our family Valentine’s Day Luncheon❤️ A big thank you to Heather Thornton for the wonderful music that had everyone tapping their toes and enjoying the moment!💃🏼
Our amazing Director of Culinary, Joe, spoiled us with delicious food (seriously… so good!), and a chocolate fountain🤤
We love bringing our residents & families together for days like this. Full hearts (and bellies), making memories, & maybe just a little extra chocolate…What more could we ask for?!? ❤️

At our Art Expressions Club, it’s never about perfection. It’s about creativity, connection, and self-expression. 🎨❤️ Our residents have been embracing the Valentine’s spirit through beautiful canvas paintings filled with color, personality, and heart. Each piece tells its own story, reminding us that art isn’t about getting it “right”… it’s about expressing what’s inside.
We love seeing the joy, confidence, and creativity that shines through their art 🖼️

We had so much fun that residents requested that we play weekly! It’s safe to say that Silverado Lee’s Summit is just a tad competitive 😉💙

Yasmin is our Nexus Specialist in the Engagement Department and has been part of the Silverado family since July 2024. From day one, she has gone above and beyond for our residents and team. Yasmin has a true gift for connection—no matter how busy the day is, she always makes time to comfort, listen to, and simply be present with our residents. Her compassion, patience, and genuine heart shine through in everything she does. Yasmin brings a positive attitude and a warm smile to work every single day, and her energy is contagious. She embodies our mission and sets the standard for what it means to care with purpose and love.

Outside of work, Yasmin enjoys taking her two kids on new adventures—and she’ll be the first to admit that sleeping in is her absolute favorite 😅 Thank you, Yasmin, for all that you do. We are beyond grateful to have you and so proud to celebrate you as our Associate of the Year! 💙👏
