We love getting out to try new places, share good food, and enjoy great company! Moments like these are all about connection, conversation, and creating a sense of normalcy for our residents.

At Silverado, bringing purpose, joy, and normalization into everyday life is at the heart of what we do — and outings like this are just one of the many ways we continue to do so.

Homemade seasonal soap bars have become a favorite for our Service Club members 🧼
They made the best smelling fall scented soaps that will be given out as tour gifts! 🍁🥧
This group was already taking about what scents they should make the soap bars next month when the season changes to Winter/Christmas! 🫶🏼

Today, we had the pleasure of visiting Little Blue Elementary for their Veteran’s Day Ceremony. This is our fourth year in a row attending, and it brings us to tears each time 💙🇺🇸
We proudly honor the brave men and women who have served our country. Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication inspire us every day.
To all veterans, we thank you for your service and commitment to our nation. You will always be our heroes. 💙❤️

Our Service Club had a special project this last week that they worked so hard on. Jordan, our administrator, got married over the weekend, and our residents handcrafted her wedding favors: cozy fall candles poured right here in our community🕯️🍁🤎

Jordan took them to her wedding, and each guest went home with a little piece of love crafted right here in our community.

Congratulations to The Wardens! 👰🏽‍♀️💍🤵🏽

⭐️Associate of the month - October⭐️

Please help us congratulate, Yasmin! 🎉

Yasmin is our Nexus Specialist in the Engagement department and has worked at Silverado since July 2024. One of the reasons that Yasmin was nominated to be our associate of the month is because she takes time out of her day to comfort, talk to, or just be with residents - even when she is busy, she always makes time for them. She brings a positive attitude and smile to work every single day, no matter what.

Yasmin loves working at Silverado because, “all of my ladies teach me different life skills every day. They also show me genuine love on a daily basis & they keep my days interesting. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else”. Outside of work, she loves taking her two kids on new adventures & being able to sleep in is her absolute favorite 😅

A Halloween charcuterie board made by our culinary club members💀, a costume contest/fashion show by our staff👻, and our next door neighbor friends came by for some trick or treating 🍬🍫 we’re lucky to have such a great partnership with Primrose School of Lee's Summit 🧡🖤
