What a wonderful night celebrating the season together!🎄✨ Our Family Christmas Dinner brought residents, families, and staff together for an amazing meal and lots of holiday cheer. Santa even made a special appearance, putting smiles on everyone’s faces🎅🏽 Moments like these are what make our community feel like home 💚❤️

🎄Tree-mendous fun in the kitchen today! Our Culinary Services Director, Joe, had residents ooh-ing and ahh-ing during his monthly cooking demo engagement with a Hors d’oeuvres Christmas Tree that stole the show. Delicious, festive, and full of smiles — we loved every minute! 🍅🧀🎄

This month on Going Viral with Whitney, we dove into all the “new slang” the kids are saying these days—and let me tell you, our residents absolutely nailed it! 😂 The laughter could be heard all throughout the community, and it was truly one of those moments that fills your heart. So much fun, so many smiles!

Our Associate of the Month goes to Loren!

Loren is one of our dedicated Med Techs on night shift and has been a part of the Silverado family since March 2025. She embodies one of our Great 8 Words—courage. Loren brings a positive outlook to every situation, always with a smile. She is consistently willing to lend a helping hand and goes above and beyond in all that she does.

Loren shares, “At Silverado we do great things, and there is no place I’d rather be.”

We are truly grateful to have Loren as part of the Silverado family at Lee’s Summit. Thank you, Loren, for all that you do!
