What a glorious morning to celebrate Earth Day! We embarked on a delightful adventure to Green Street Farmers Market in downtown Lee Summit, filled with excitement and possibility. We discovered an array of vibrant flowers, fragrant herbs, luscious fruits, fresh vegetables, and innovative vendors who showcased their talents this morning. Our assisted living garden club is now bursting with enthusiasm to start cultivating beautiful flowers and thriving tomato plants.

What an extraordinary afternoon filled with knowledge and joy! Our Resident Service Director welcomed a good friend from high school, Jennifer Leighter Yeates, a remarkable Child Development Instructor with the WILCO Career Center, for a second visit to Princeton to celebrate Deaf Awareness Month. With boundless enthusiasm, Jennifer enlightened us about Deaf Education, sharing invaluable insights that sparked curiosity and wonder. Together, we explored the world of letters, words, and storytelling, unlocking new understanding and appreciation. With her infectious laughter and kindness, Jennifer inspired us to learn, grow, and smile, making today truly unforgettable. Look for a video offered course to be hosted by Mel starting in May! Check your calendars for an opportunity to continue to learn and grow!
