Join me in welcoming Peyton Gibson - Counselor Intern!

Peyton joined as an intern in May of 2022. She is working toward her Master’s degree of School Counseling through Liberty University (Lynchburg, VA) and will seek her Professional Counseling Licensure (LPC) post graduation in Spring of 2023. Peyton earned a degree in Child Development in December of 2019 from Pittsburg State University. Peyton is a lover of animals, enjoys being around her family and friends, being outdoors, listening to music, reading, and exploring with her husband.

Fostering optimal development for children and families has been at the core of Peyton’s heart for the majority of her life. Peyton is training to work alongside all individuals, but has a special knack for building relationships with children. No approach or technique is right for every individual, which is why I alter my approach to align with the specific goals and needs of the client.

Peyton is a lifelong learner and is excited to begin her Professional Counseling journey. Her mission is to walk alongside individuals who are navigating the waves of life, desiring to strengthen relationships, or seeking clarity and healing of traumatic experiences with unwavering dedication, empathy, and understanding.

Peyton has openings on Fridays from 9-1 and will be seeing children throughout the summer. This is a great opportunity to start counseling for a child/youth that you know. Her session fee is $50. Call or email today to get scheduled: counselorrochelle@gmail.com, 816-607-1219 or peyt.gibson4@gmail.com 816-318-7244.
