🎃 Let's get ready for trick or treating together! 🎃

👻 Practice your child's key phrases! Work on saying 'Trick or Treat' and 'Thank you'. Don't forget to practice who they are dressed up as. This will prep your family for a fun night out without the stress.

👻 Grab your AAC devices and get ready now. Model the night ahead and practice words or messages beforehand. Many devices have Halloween Vocab programmed already. If you need help, ask your SLP and they will help you navigate.

👻 Hit the ground early! Beat the rush and crowds and enjoy a calmer experience. This also helps others see/understand if your child in nonverbal or has a AAC device.

👻 Remember plans can and will change. If your child is done after a few houses that is great! Have realistic expectations and always have a backup plan for siblings and friends if you need to end your night early!
