🤣 FRIDAY FUN: When Dr. Fieleke's son, Gage, helps out in the office, he likes to make a 'Cold Hand' and go around the office high fiving staff with it. Even patients get a kick out of it sometimes!

One sweet patient saw it as an opportunity to connect, and he used his artistic talents to commemorate The Cold Hand on his next visit with a painted rock for Gage.

Our Cornerstone staff team recently completed BLS training. This enables them to provide basic life-saving techniques such as:

💙Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
💙Use of an automated external defibrillator (AED)
💙Relief of airway obstruction

While we always hope these emergencies don't arise, rest assured we're ready to provide necessary care.

May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month, and Cornerstone board-certified dermatologist Dr. David Fieleke is partnering with to offer free skin cancer screenings in Downtown Lee’s Summit from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

This free screening is part of the American Academy of Dermatology's Spot Skin Cancer Program intended as a community service to aid in the early detection and treatment of skin cancer. Since 1985, dermatologists have conducted more than 2.9 million free skin cancer checks and detected more than 293,000 suspicious lesions, including more than 33,700 suspected melanoma.

🩵To the memory of those we’ve lost and the hope for a cure in the future …

Each day, we're privileged to care for melanoma patients. This morning, Cornerstone Dermatology's team ran/walked in support of survivors. We raised money to fund research as well as support early detection of melanoma in the Kansas City area at the Outpacing Melanoma 5K.

Congratulations to Dr. Fieleke and his daughter, Adelyn, for each placing first in their age group! 👏

May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month, and Cornerstone Dermatology is teaming up with BLUSH Boot Camp Raymore, MO to offer free skin cancer screenings on May 7 from 4 to 6 p.m. at 701 E. Walnut Street in Raymore, MO.
