Spring is here—which means it’s time to give your makeup drawer a fresh start 🌸✨

If your beauty stash is overflowing, expired, or just plain chaotic, a quick spring clean can make your routine feel so much lighter (and more hygienic!).

Here’s how to refresh your makeup drawer:
🌿 Start with a full reset�Take everything out. Yes, everything. It’s the best way to see what you actually have (and how much you’ve been holding onto 👀).

🧴 Check expiration dates
* Mascara: 3–6 months
* Liquid eyeliner: 6 months
* Foundation: ~1 year
* Powders: up to 2 years
When in doubt—throw it out.

💄 Declutter with honesty�If you haven’t used it in the last 6–12 months, ask yourself why. Wrong shade? Didn’t love the formula? Let it go.

🧼 Clean your tools & packaging�Wipe down compacts, wash your brushes and sponges, and sanitize what you’re keeping. Fresh tools = better skin and smoother application.

☀️Spring is here, which means it’s time for some sunscreen spring cleaning!

As the weather warms up and we spend more time outdoors, it’s crucial to ensure that your sunscreen is still effective and hasn’t expired.
☀️ Sunscreen potency diminishes over time, especially if it’s been exposed to high temperatures or direct sunlight. Check the expiration date and discard any expired products.
☀️ Shake it up! If your sunscreen has been sitting for a while, give it a good shake to ensure that the ingredients are well mixed.
☀️ Don’t forget to check the texture and smell. If your sunscreen has changed in consistency or has an off-putting odor, it’s time to replace it.
☀️ Reassess your SPF needs. As the UV index increases with the onset of spring and summer, you may need to switch to a higher SPF for better protection.

Remember, protecting your skin from the sun’s harmful rays is essential year-round, so don’t skip this important step year-round!
