I’ve heard several clients around the country talk about the monks walking through their state…have you seen them? Tell us about what you’ve seen - or wish to see! We practice peace within as they model for us.

🙏 Join Us in Washington, D.C. and Maryland | Feb 10–12, 2026
We are deeply honored to invite everyone to join us in Washington, D.C. and Maryland as we approach the final destination of this 2,300-mile Walk for Peace. After more than 108 days and countless steps through many states, we will arrive in our nation's capital with hearts full of gratitude. We warmly welcome all who wish to be part of these final, sacred moments of our journey.

📅 Confirmed Schedule (Updated on February 8, 2026. All times listed are in EST):

* Monday, February 9 (Day 107):
Night Rest Stop: Marymount University (Private Event)

* Tuesday, February 10 (Day 108):
- 7:00 AM: Walk begins
- 9:30–10:45 AM: Public Event at Bender Arena
- Lunch stop: National United Methodist Church (Invitees only)
- 1:00–2:30 PM: Interfaith Ceremony at Washington National Cathedral
- 2:30 PM: Unity Walk on Embassy Row
- Night Stop: George Washington University (Private Event)

* Wednesday, February 11 (Day 109):
- 9:30 AM: Walk to Peace Monument / Capitol Hill begins
- Lunch stop: St. Mark’s Capitol Hill Church (Invitees only)
- 1:30 PM: Walk to Lincoln Memorial begins
- 2:30–4:00 PM: Peace Gathering and Concluding Ceremony at Lincoln Memorial
- 4:30–7:30 PM: Meditation Session with Venerable Bhikkhu Pannakara at George Washington University Smith Center

* Thursday, February 12 (Day 110):
- 9:00 AM: Walk for Peace continues in Maryland (The walk starts from Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium)
- 10:00–10:45 AM: Peace Gathering at the steps of the Maryland State Capitol
- 12:30 PM: Departure for Fort Worth, TX

📌 We also cordially invite all venerable monks and nuns from all traditions to join us on this path of peace. If you are able to join, please visit our website to sign up so we may prepare for your arrival.

🎥 We will have live streams on our page for most of the events listed above so that everyone can join us in spirit from anywhere.

🗺️We will also provide daily updates on our walking route. Please check the Live Map pinned at the top of our page to track the journey in near real-time. We still post nightly updates every day for the following day on our page and our website. We encourage you to stay tuned to both platforms to ensure you have the most current information. We’re using Mindfulness & Meditation to practice Kindness and Compassion in February.

So many of us are in pain these days.
Pain in mind, body, spirit, or multiple layers.

I’ve been down this tunnel of darkness before and know a way out.

Mindful practices light us up on the inside. This gives us enough light to see *just the next step.*

That next step will vary for each of us. Maybe it will active - or restful, expressive to the outer world - or within ourselves. In the quiet you’ll hear your intuition speak clearly on how to ease your pain.

Join us on online on Wednesdays at 8pm Eastern to soothe your heart. Invite a friend, from any state, to join you in a practice of peace.

We’ll start tonight with kindness and compassion for ourselves…because it always starts with us.

In our community mindfulness and meditation are tools for transformation as well as regulation.

Our weekly, online Mindfulness & Meditation class kicks off again tonight at 8pm EST with a focus on Living Intentionally.

We all come to this practice in search of something, even if we’re not sure of what it is.

Our community members usually have intentions for healthy living. We want positive change.
Some clients may have set intentions for living with healthier boundaries, new nutritional habits or better self-care for mind and body.

The mindful practices we use on Wednesdays will support your intentions for positive change and personal growth.

Try a class even if you’re just curious!

Mindfulness and meditation are each power practices and in this program you get to experience both.

How will you be mindful during our Fall Break?
🍂 Fall themed ideas below!

Classes are canceled this week as I tend to my hypermobile neck with a regenerative medicine treatment.

Try These 4 Mindful, Centering Practices to Reset:

🍁If you’re in a cooler area with changing foliage step into the outdoors for a walk or some fresh air. Notice a color you see on every exhale.

🌬️ Pause to notice 10 exhales. You’re already exhaling, just pause to notice! What are the sounds you hear with you in the present moment?

🎶 Find a new song to cue your relaxation response. I keep a Calming playlist to turn on when I want to relax or when traffic is stressing me out. Link sound with your choice to relax.

🛏️ Place your hands, or a small pillow or stuffed animal, on your belly and breathe deeply to fall asleep. Long exhales help us shift into a relaxed state.
