Loudoun County Parks, Recreation and Community Services Our mission is to Connect all communities through exceptional people, parks and programs.

PRCS offers a countywide system of facilities including trails, athletic fields, parks, open space, community, recreation and aquatic centers, senior and adult day centers, playgrounds, sports complexes, a nature preserve, a nature center, a performing and fine arts center, indoor and outdoor pools, and historic and heritage sites. Programs and services encompass facility planning and development, children’s programs (e.g., preschool, camps, after-school care), youth services, aging services, sports and recreation, community outreach, adaptive recreation, health and fitness and environmental stewardship. Power has been restored at the Round Hill Aquatic Center and the high school swim practice will be held.

The Round Hill Indoor Aquatic Center is currently closed due to a power outage in the area.

All afternoon and evening swim classes have been canceled.

A decision on high school swim practice will be made by 4:00 .p.m. on Tuesday, November 11.

Loudoun County Parks, Recreation and Community Services administrative offices, adult day centers, and the Franklin Park Arts Center will be closed tomorrow (Tuesday, November 11), in observance of Veterans Day.

All community, recreation and senior centers, and the Round Hill Indoor Aquatic Center will maintain normal operating hours on November 11. Childcare, preschool and after-school programs will be held as normal. For adult 55+ services, there will be no bus transportation, lunch programs, or home-delivered meals on Tuesday.

Park administrative offices are closed, but park visitor and nature centers are open for normal hours.

The elves are scrambling! Santa is missing, and it is almost Christmas! Lucky for the elves, Santa has left clues along the trail.

Join us at the Lovettsville Community Park for the third annual Elf Scramble 3K and help the elves in their quest. Registration will include some swag to put a little jingle in your run.
