This morning, I received a heartwarming gift from a remarkable 7-year-old who came in for an annual physical. As our time together came to a close, he wrapped me in a big, genuine hug that filled my heart with joy. I feel truly grateful, and this encounter will leave an indelible mark on my heart ❤️🙏. Moments like these remind me that every challenge can be transformed into a blessing.

As a courtesy reminder to our community and followers about new services: We also offer a range of specialized services, including ear piercing, hearing tests, painless ear lavage, blood count (CBC) and high sensitivity tests for viral and bacterial infections. We are thrilled and grateful to provide these services, preventing delays in child diagnosis and contributing to less antibiotic and medication use.

Today marks the conclusion of an important chapter in the lives of many in our community, as UF LRMC Obstetric and Pediatric department closes its doors for “good”. As you know, this department has been instrumental in shaping pivotal moments for medical professionals and families, particularly those who have welcomed new life into the world. The nurses, many of whom have provided over 20 years of exceptional care, have done an outstanding job. Personally, I have been privileged to serve for 30 years. Although I am saddened by this closure, I am also grateful for the opportunity to have worked alongside such a remarkable team. Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful over a few things, I will put you in charge of many things. 🙏❤️👍🇺🇸... PS: We honor the memories of those who came before us. - Dr. Cheas
