Canyon Lakes Counseling Hi, I am Sam Griggs. I am an Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker.

I have been a social worker for the past 9 years, however I have work with disadvantaged youth since 2008. My experience includes working with both adolescents and adults that struggle with substance misuse, child protection, adult and children suffering from mental health and behavioral issues, and group home settings. Good Saturday morning everyone. I recently read a quote that said “those that need therapy do not go…. Their victims do”. This is so true, I see it very often. If life always seems like a struggle, the spouse is always on your nerves, the kids will never mind and each morning turns into a yelling match, let me implore you to please reach out to someone for help. It doesn’t have to be like that every day.
