💖 Because of the incredible generosity of the GFWC Women’s Club of Leesburg and their Quarter Auction event a few weeks ago, The B***y Trap Foundation was blessed with a $3,000 donation! 🎀

We immediately put that kindness into action — our “Surprise Squad” found a local family who is currently undergoing treatment and gifted them a $1,000 check along with a cozy quilt to wrap herself in whenever she needs a little extra comfort. 💕

We’re so grateful to GFWC for helping us continue our mission of supporting those going through breast cancer treatment — one surprise at a time.

✨ And we’re not stopping there! We’re currently looking for another individual to surprise this Holiday season. If you know someone who could use a little extra love and encouragement, please reach out to us!

I’m thrilled to announce that tonight at the Shimmering Lanterns of Hope event, Deb Jayne, the founder of The B***y Trap Foundation, will be sharing her journey as a cancer survivor. It’s such an honor to be part of this special evening, where Deb will talk about the role of faith, family, and friends in her fight against cancer.

The B***y Trap Foundation will also have a booth at the event! If you’re in the area (or near Orlando), we’d love for you to come by and say hello. The event will be held at UF Health Leesburg Hospital from 4-8 pm. Deb will be speaking around 6 pm, and the lantern release will take place at 7 pm. The event is free, but if you'd like to release a lantern, it's $25. The address is 600 E. Dixie Avenue, Leesburg, FL 34748.

This is a night to celebrate hope and strength, and we are so grateful to share this journey with all of you. 💖 ***yTrapFoundation

Important Announcement

Due to the impact of Hurricane Milton and unforeseen challenges faced by some of our partners, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the soft launch tea event for the B***y Trap Foundation. We are currently securing a new date and venue, and we hope to have an update for you within the next few days.

Did you know that tomorrow is National Nonprofit Day, August 17th?

I want to take a moment to highlight a cause that’s close to my heart—the B***y Trap Foundation. I founded this organization with a mission to support women undergoing mastectomies during their breast cancer treatment. Through the foundation, we provide shower scarves (in a small but meaningful way) and financial support to help these brave women maintain their dignity and comfort during such a challenging time.

Breast cancer is a journey no one should have to face alone, and it's my hope that the B***y Trap Foundation can offer a little bit of comfort and care when it’s needed most.
