A wonderful holiday celebration filled with delicious food, joyful laughter, Christmas melodies and family and friends. Horse-drawn carriage rides made the night magical. Santa and Mrs. Clause's visit added an extra touch of excitement and smiles that made the evening unforgettable. We love and cherish partnerships at Spring Arbor Leesburg!

Sweet Piedmont grew flowers, harvested stems, and hosted a design party at their specialty flower farm in Waterford, Virginia. They partnered with the ladies of Purcellville Garden Club to create 180 miniature arrangements for Spring Arbor's residents and staff. Flowers were delivered on Saturday, 9/27 which yielded smiles from ear to ear by all. We can't THANK YOU enough for this genuine act of kindness.

As a side note, for anyone who wants to pick their own flowers at Sweet Piedmont, they are hosting you-picks the next three Saturdays! Attendees can register online beforehand or get their pick-tickets at the door. Entry is free for all! Visit them at www.sweetpiedmont.com

Aloha! The grand finale to National Assisted Living Week was a "trip" to Hawaii.🏝 Early morning Hula lessons to start our day. Lunch was an incredible Hawaiian meal. Our Food Service team really pulled out all the punches this week! Prior to ending the day with our infamous Happy Hour, residents were entertained by a Hula dancer. Lessons were offered, but only Chris took advantage.
This was a week to remember!!!!!

Day 4 - Thursday, a relaxing day as we "traveled" to Greece. A phenomenal Greek beef & lamb gyro bar, good friends and good conversation. A calm day as we prepared for the AL week finale on Friday!

Ciao dall'italia!!! Wednesday travels took us to Italy! Hula lessons (prep for another travel day - wink wink); courtesy of Bayada, suncatcher and lei making (courtesy of Tiffany Plante & Lisa Householder), Pasta and Pizza buffet, Violinist playing Italian rhythms and ending with an Italian documentary. Italy was all that and a cannoli!

Day 2 took us to China! Leesburg Flower Show started our day followed by an amazing Chinese Buffet, LED Light Dancer and rounded it off with our We Care Social/Tea. Where we going on Wednesday?.......Stay tuned!

Day 1 of AL week took us on a journey through Mexico! Sand art started our day; courtesy of Jenni Martin (Blue Ridge Hospice) & Tiffany Plante (Capital Caring Hospice). Next up was our amazing taco and quesadilla bar, then wrapping up the day with arm chair travels through Mexico. Stay tuned for todays destination!
