🌟 Reflections on an Inspiring Morning at Pinecrest School 🌟

I had such a rewarding morning spent with the incredible educators at Pinecrest School for their
Professional Development Day! 🍎✨

We learned about variations in Neurodiversity, exploring the importance of supporting nervous system regulation and navigating the unique nuances of:
🧠 ASD
🧠 OCD
🧠 ADHD
🧠 Dyslexia

Beyond classroom strategies, we focused on a piece of the puzzle that is often overlooked: self-care for educators.

To truly show up for our students, we have to ensure our own nervous systems are regulated and our "cups" are refilled.

Thank you, Pinecrest School, for the warm welcome and for prioritizing the well-being of both your students and your dedicated staff.

Thrilled to announce that today marks the beginning of my EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) training right here in Arlington, VA! 🎉 This is a skill I've been eager to learn and integrate into my practice for so much of my career, and the opportunity has finally arrived. I'm incredibly excited to expand my therapeutic toolbox and offer this powerful approach to support my clients on their healing journeys. Looking forward to a week of learning and growth!
