Querita and Rita update! Quertia is currently off IV fluids and they took out her feeding tube. Her blood work isn't perfect yet but it is trending in the correct direction! Tonight will be very important to see if she can nurse on her own and not need IV fluids to help her out!

Querita is a fighter! She is seeming to be doing better but still needs fluids and the feeding tube. She is bright and trying to escape so I'm taking that as a positive! Little Querita had to take a trip to EMC last night. She is having trouble nursing and received plasma from the wonderful vets at at home before we decided it was best to take her in. Her blood work showed her being dehydrated and needing more assistance than I can provide here on the farm. I know she's in the best hands at Morven and we will have her home before we know it! Her Mama (Rita) is doing great and is being so wonderful and attentive to her!
