🌞 Summer at PosAbilities 2026 — Planning Is Underway! 🌞

We’re officially beginning planning for Summer Program 2026, and we’re exploring the possibility of securing a larger summer space so we can serve more families next year.
To plan responsibly — including staffing, group placements, and programming — we’re opening our Summer Priority Interest List now.

✅ Complete the short interest form here:

https://forms.office.com/r/9bxDdwJnb9

Completing the form does not obligate enrollment — it simply ensures you receive early updates and helps us determine how many participants to plan for.

📍 Come See Us at the LCPS Summer Resource Fair!

We’d love to meet you in person, answer questions, and talk through next steps. Stop by our table, introduce yourself, and learn more about what makes Summer at PosAbilities so special.

Please share or tag a family who might be interested in a structured, supportive, and meaningful summer experience 💛

Join Virginia Dept. of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) and The Arc of Virginia for a virtual Lived Experiences Listening Session to share your experiences navigating Virginia’s disability services system. This session is designed to gather input on what is working well, what is challenging, and what information or supports may be missing, and to inform DBHDS’s resource development and the Shared Values Project. We are holding the session for people with developmental disabilities/self-advocates and family members with lived experience. Others are welcome to listen and learn, but our priority is hearing directly from people with lived experience.
We will have 4 breakout rooms for focused conversation:
-New to the DD services system
-On the DD Waivers Waiting List
-Recently received a DD Waiver slot
-DBHDS Shared Values Project

When: March 3rd from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.
Where: Virtually on Zoom
