This month we focused on giving back and embracing the true meaning of Thanksgiving—expressing kindness and gratitude through helping others. As part of this theme, our learners and parents donated canned goods for the food pantry, assembled blessing bags for the homeless, baked cookies for our neighboring Fire and Rescue ,Unit 22, and created handmade cards to brighten the days of those receiving our gifts.

Throughout these activities, we worked on important community and social skills, as well as practical life skills, empowering our friends to engage meaningfully with others and contribute to the community. We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed items and funds to make this possible.

A special thank you to Tree of Life Ministries in Ashburn, the Loudoun Homeless Shelter, and Ashburn fire and reacue Station 22 for welcoming us warmly. As Thanksgiving approaches, we encourage everyone to take a moment to give back and share kindness. Follow our page for to see more!
