Vernon Home Health is seeking a reliable and compassionate Full-Time Field Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team.
Vernon Home Health has been providing quality in-home care for more than 25 years and is 100% owned and operated by local physicians. Vernon Home Health has a "patient first" philosophy, and our patients notice the difference in the in-home medical care we provide.
Essential Duties Include:
Traveling to patient's homes and managing their care plans according to physician orders.
Assess and regularly re-evaluate the nursing needs of the patient.
Develop, initiate, implement, and update the plan of care as needed or at least every 60 days.
Coordinate services and inform the physician and other personnel of change in the patient's conditions and needs.
Complete all documentation timely including visit notes, Oasis, 485, and order submissions.
Qualifications:
Current RN license as required by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing without restrictions.
One year of clinical experience as a registered nurse (this requirement may be waived for a registered nurse with recent clinical experience as an LPN)
Current driver's license, vehicle registration, vehicle insurance, and vehicle inspection
