On February 24th, Dee's 17-year-old son Zeke, was involved in a catastrophic accident that led to him being urgently flown to Primary Children's Hospital. Despite the best efforts of the medical team, he tragically could not overcome his injuries and passed away. This has been a devastating tragedy for Dee and her family, turning their world upside down.

This loss is unfathomable. No parent should ever have to endure the heartbreak of losing a child twice in their lifetime. Dee is facing a level of devastation that is hard to comprehend. During this incredibly difficult time, her friends and community are coming together to offer support in any way we can.

We are initiating this GoFundMe to assist Dee and her family with the financial burdens that have suddenly fallen upon them. The funds raised will help cover medical expenses, funeral costs and any unforeseen expenses that arise as they navigate through this period of mourning and adjustment.

In moments like these, the power of community is more important than ever. Any contribution, no matter how small, can make a significant difference in alleviating the financial stress on Dee and her family during this period of immense grief. Together, we can help provide them with the support they need to focus on healing and remembering the life of their sweet and incredible Zeke.

Please consider donating to this cause and sharing this campaign with your network. Let's show Dee and her family that they are not alone and that, in times of sorrow, love and community can bring light to the darkest of places.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support during this unimaginably difficult time.

😯 🀩 Unbelievable! A foetus saves his mother and saves himself by filling a tear in the uterus ❀🍼

This is an incredible story that "The European Journal of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Biology" tells in an article dated June 3, 2017.

Recently admitted to the emergency room in Lille, an eight-month-old pregnant mother complains of abdominal pain. If the medical team doesn't find anything abnormal at first, a deeper examination will reveal that the young woman - who underwent a cesarean section in 2013 - suffered a rupture of nearly ten inches.

If the 31-year-old woman undergoes emergency surgery, doctors quickly notice that the baby has already practiced first aid by patting her back against the tear! "Then there is a suction effect: the baby's back is sucked in by the uterine cavity that it will completely fill up." "So it's all going like the baby's back is ventilating."

Surprisingly, this gesture allowed the baby to hold in the womb with the amniotic fluid while saving his mother from bleeding.

After a cesarean delivery without complication, the young mom was able to discover a little boy weighing 2,520 kg. And if the child was born with a large lump in the back related to suction, the edema quickly dissolved, leaving room for a healthy baby. ❀ https://www.facebook.com/grossesseetmaternite?mibextid=PlNXYD

β€œIn most medicalized births, the delivery of the placenta is heavily managed by the provider. The placenta needs to be birthed quickly, and there is an urgency that often leads to gentle traction (and sometimes aggressive pulling).

But at many home births...I watch as the midwife often steps back and allows both time and space for the birth of the placenta.

This client had her husband hold her baby as she felt the cord. I love that she was able to come back down into her body, feel the actual pulsing connection, and then birth her placenta with no complications several minutes later.

It can be this calm, quiet, simple, and even slow.”
