Aunt Flow's Cloth Pads

Aunt Flow's Cloth Pads Reusable cloth pads from Aunt Flow on Etsy better your period and ease your wallet while helping you Way cuter than disposables.

::WHY USE CLOTH PADS?::

~:♥:~ Cloth pads make your period--a trying time for the best of us--more pleasant. Cloth pads just FEEL better than plastic, disposable pads, and their bright cheerfulness in your panties will make you smile and feel better when the crampy, bloaty, bleedy time hits.

~:♥:~ Cloth pads are good for the environment! You won't be throwing a large quantity of plastic pads and cotton tampons away for years, adding to landfills and contributing much more to water pollution than you would if using cloth.

~:♥:~ Your wallet will thank you! Cloth pads are much less expensive than disposables, in the long run. I have the first cloth pads I ever made 5 years ago out of an old tablecloth, a baby blanket, and an old towel, and they're still working great!

~:♥:~ Sensitive skin appreciates cloth, since you can choose which, if any, chemicals you put next to your skin. Disposable menstrual products don't offer that luxury.

~:♥:~ Cloth pads are CUTE!! You could even call them designer pads. ;D

Are you a woman who has trouble finding bike seats that feel comfortable to you? Well, some people in the business did some research and found out that it's related to how much of the female genitalia is external! The more external, the more comfortable a wider the bike seat will probably be; the more internal genitalia will generally prefer the smaller-nosed bike seats.

The brand's research suggests the shape of your 'lady bits' could determine the perfect saddle...

Such an interesting thing to think about. Why DO humans have periods while most mammals don't? And what are they meant to do for us? http://www.bbc.com/earth/story/20150420-why-do-women-have-periods

Apart from humans and our close relatives, the only animals that menstruate are elephant shrews and certain bats. Why did it only evolve in these species?

"Periods don't make us IMPURE they make us the mothers of humanity!" See how women in India are using social media to buck against the notion that periods make them unfit to participate in worship (among other things.) http://www.npr.org/sections/goatsandsoda/2015/12/13/458321907/indian-women-flout-menstrual-taboos-by-saying-theyre-happytobleed

A Hindu temple bans women because their periods are considered 'impure.' In protest, ladies are posting pics of pads and tampons on social media.

Lammily, the "realistic fashion doll", has a new accessory — menstrual pads.

Reading one man's account of his experience with maxi pads might just make your day. "Who wants to look like he’s walking around with a saggy burrito in the back of his pants. If you’re actually pondering your response to this: the answer is nobody. Nobody. Not even complete whack-jobs want to look like they have a saggy burrito in their pants."

Very few men get to experience what it's like for a woman when it comes to "that time of the month." I unfortunately did, and I learned things I never expected.

Happy New Year! The shop is devoid of pads. I will start selling wet bags and cloth pad-making supplies in a few days, just lemme figure out how to photograph them and create sewing instructions and we'll be on our way. In the meantime, online dance party!
