Join us for a mindful evening of tea, connection, and presence.

A tea ceremony is a slow, intentional practice rooted in mindfulness—inviting you to step away from distractions and fully experience the moment through the preparation and sharing of tea. It’s an opportunity to ground yourself, connect with others, and cultivate a sense of calm and clarity.

This guided tea ceremony will be led by our therapist, Shaun, who will gently facilitate the experience and create a supportive, peaceful space for reflection.

🗓 April 23
⏰ 7:00–8:30 PM

Pricing:
$20 for new clients
Free for existing clients

Whether you’re new to mindfulness practices or simply looking for a restorative evening, this is a space to slow down, sip intentionally, and reconnect.

Spots are limited—reserve your place ahead of time.

Okay, we aren’t going to hike Mount Timpanogos for therapy.

**April Fools.**

But we do have a real announcement: we’re now offering **Walk & Talk Therapy**.

These sessions will meet at **Thanksgiving Point Trailhead Park** along the **Jordan River Trail** for clients who want a different kind of therapy environment, with the same grounded, thoughtful care.

For some people, therapy feels easier outdoors. Walking side by side can create a more relaxed setting, support emotional regulation, and help conversations flow more naturally.

We’re committed to grounded care, clear thinking, and at least one bad April Fools joke a year.

Call us at **(385) 600-7036** or visit **koruwell.com** to learn more.

Utah is stepping up for veterans with PTSD 🫡
House Bill 390 (HB390) passed the Legislature unanimously—authorizing a groundbreaking clinical study at Huntsman Mental Health Institute on psychedelic-assisted therapy (psilocybin, M**A, DMT) for treatment-resistant cases.
It builds smarter on 2024's SB266: focused research-first, veteran-centered, with funding paths and federal compliance to actually move forward.
Still needs Gov. Cox's signature, but this is huge progress in Utah's psychedelic space—real hope through science and compassion.
Meanwhile, ketamine-assisted therapy is already legal and available NOW in Utah, offering similar neuroplasticity benefits in guided sessions for PTSD, trauma, anxiety, and couples work.
At Koru Wellness in Salt Lake City / Utah County, we're here supporting healing journeys today.

Spring equinox is almost here—a natural reset point. Longer days, fresh energy, a quiet invitation to realign.

Our therapist Shaun is hosting a small, traditional tea ceremony on March 26, 7-8:30 PM at Koru Wellness in Lehi.

We sit together comfortably and watch Shaun prepare and serve white jasmine tea, learning why this tea fits the season so well.
A tea ceremony is a simple practice in mindfulness and healing that engages all five senses. Shaun will guide us with prompts to help us connect more deeply to the present moment, using the tea as our anchor.

It’s structured yet simple—no talking required unless you want to share—designed to help you drop into presence, notice your body and breath, and feel more grounded. Most women leave feeling calm, collected, and reconnected to themselves—benefits that carry over beautifully into our work around anxiety, depression, or post-KAP integration.

$25 | Limited spots | Your nervous system deserves this pause. Come as you are.

New on the Koru Wellness blog: Helping Your Young Adult Navigate Anxiety in the Age of AI — A Parent's Guide to Real Connection and Support. Practical tips for recognizing anxiety signs, opening conversations, and rebuilding meaningful connection when technology feels overwhelming. Read more: https://wix.to/4naVkAA

Picture this: Your 24-year-old texts you late at night saying something like, “AI is just going to replace everything I care about—why even try?” Or during a visit or call, they seem distant, scrolling job listings while talking about how algorithms already decide who's “creative enough.” ...

Low energy. Brain fog. Slower recovery than you used to have.

Sometimes it’s not about motivation. It’s about capacity.

NAD+ is a coenzyme your body naturally produces. It plays a key role in how your cells create energy and maintain normal repair processes. As we age, and especially under chronic stress, NAD levels can decline.

When that happens, people may notice:

• Inconsistent energy
• Mental fatigue
• Reduced focus
• Slower physical recovery

What is NAD IV therapy?

NAD is delivered through a slow IV infusion in a comfortable, supervised setting. Because it goes directly into the bloodstream, absorption is higher than oral supplements.

Sessions typically last 1–3 hours. Most people rest, read, or work during the infusion.

What do people report?

Individual responses vary, but some patients notice:

• Clearer thinking
• More stable energy throughout the day
• Improved recovery from workouts
• Better overall resilience

NAD IV therapy is not a replacement for therapy, medication, sleep, or lifestyle changes. It’s one tool that can support cellular function as part of a broader care plan.

If you’re curious whether it fits your goals, we’re happy to talk through it with you.DM us or call (385) 600-7036 to schedule your appointment. Mention this post to receive $100 of your first infusion.

Ketamine can be a powerful catalyst for change, but it was never meant to work in isolation.

At the ASKP3 Conference, one message came through clearly: lasting mental health outcomes happen when ketamine is paired with therapy and supported by a whole-person approach that considers the brain and the body.

We just published a new blog sharing founder insights from the conference and why this integrated model matters, especially for people who feel stuck or have tried traditional paths without lasting results.
