PRESCRIPTICIDE
What you are about to witness will challenge one of the most popular beliefs:
That mental suffering is a disease
that requires corrective treatment through chemical intervention.
The following 12 minute short film, Prescripticide, co-sponsored by the International Society for Ethical Psychology and Psychiatry (ISEPP) and the Coalition Against Medicalized Psychiatry and Psychology (CAMPP), shows the devastating consequences of unchallenged use and misuse of psychiatric drugs. This is not a zealous anti-drug stance, nor a romanticization of severe struggles that people experience on a daily basis. What we are saying in this film is that what is offered as care can be lethally harmful.
We at ISEPP and CAMPP thank you for your attention, as do others living out the agony of these events. Please let us know what you think of the film in the comments section of ISEPP’s YouTube page, where this link is housed. Further concrete advocacy actions are available in collaboration with us. So, buckle up for Prescripticide:

We hope you will be a trans(in)formed person on the other side of this viewing and will share it with as many people as possible.
This is dedicated to, and in honor of, the courage of survivors and their care-givers speaking truth to power in solidarity with them.
