Most of us think of high blood pressure as a condition that afflicts older people. Truth is, nearly 1 in 4 Millennials and GenZs have high blood pressure, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), but most of those with hypertension don’t know it. Signs and symptoms of high blood pressure are usually not obvious. That’s why it’s important for young adults to have their blood pressure checked regularly.

Left untreated, hypertension can cause major problems for your body, including heart disease, stroke, kidney failure, loss of eyesight, and sexual dysfunction.

The good news for those with hypertension is that there are a lot of tools available and different lifestyle changes to manage it. Learn more about why heart health matters. https://ow.ly/qLe250YhHyF
