David Thomas Logsdon, Sr. age 61, of Leitchfield, passed away Monday, February 23, 2026, at his residence.

He was born on December 16, 1964, in Grayson County to the late Leonard Logsdon and Lillie Williams. He was the owner of L &L Contractors. He was a hardworking man who enjoyed fishing and woodworking.

David is survived by his wife, Patricia Gipson Logsdon; a son, David T. Logsdon, Jr.; a daughter, Jessica Lafollette (Wesley); a stepson, Scotty Hack (Tobie); two stepdaughters, Kassie Decker (Jonathan) and Karrie Rand (Jr.); two brothers, Jason Logsdon and Chris Logsdon (Jessica); two sisters, Mary Anne Hack (Roger) and Jackie Decker (Glendal); seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and his dog, Gandolf.

The family will have a memorial service at a later date.

Timmy Howard Vincent, age 65, of Bee Spring, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at the Hospice House in Bowling Green.

He was born September 16, 1960, in Brownsville, to the late Beverly Ezra Vincent and Altie Vincent. Timmy was a former road paver for Scotty’s and Kenway Contracting. He was a member of Christian Home Baptist Church and enjoyed trapping and riding his Harleys.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Mary McGrew Vincent; two sons, Adam Vincent and Brian Carroll; four daughters, Amy Ontiveros, Heather Nunn, Kaylee Vincent and Keri Vincent and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 PM on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Watkins Funeral Home in Leitchfield.

Due to county officials advising everyone to stay off the roads unless it is an emergency, our funeral homes will be closed tomorrow for walk-in services.

Doris Katherine Goldsmith, age 93, of Caneyville, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Grayson Manor.

She was born September 22, 1932, in Bronx, New York to the late John Moore and Katherine Olga Haase Moore.

Doris is survived by her devoted son, David Goldsmith and loving daughter-in-law, Norma of Caneyville; her daughter, Karen Goldsmith (James) of Charlotte, N.C.; and best friends, Donna Soro and Dottie Schwartz; nieces and nephews, Vincent Moore, Frank Moore, Danielle Moore, Michelle Moore, David Moore, Patrick Moore, Karen Martz, and there might be more.

Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, John Moore.

After graduating high school in the Bronx, she met her husband, Richard, of 20 years and had two children. She worked in banking and gained an advertising executive position in New York. Doris loved to travel having been overseas a few times. After retiring she moved several times and finally settled down in Caneyville, Ky. She was a very loyal and supportive woman, a great listener and teacher of humanity. She loved tennis, ballet, theater, singing and driving her car. She volunteered at the food banks and the library when she lived in Charleston, S.C.. During her life in Charlotte, N.C. she was an active member of Sweet Adelines Chorus and volunteered at the Levine-Sklut Library. In Caneyville she loved living on the farm with her cat, Callie, until her peaceful passing at the age of 93. God bless.

Sammy Lindsey, age 74, of the Tousey Community, passed away Monday, November 24, 2025, at his residence.

He was born November 27, 1950, in Grayson County to the late Eardie and Cora Langdon Lindsey. He was a farmer and a former employee of A. Arnold & Son Moving Company. He was saved in a tent revival and had attended Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church and Claggett United Baptist Church. He enjoyed rabbit hunting, growing watermelons and spending time with his dogs.

In addition to his parents, he was a preceded in death by a sister, Louise Kennison; three brothers, James, Leroy and Don Lindsey; two brothers-in-law, Eugene Kennison and Junior Dudgeon; one nephew, Matthew Lindsey and a niece, Nina Lindsey Alemao.

Sam is survived by a sister, Lucille Dudgeon; a brother, Earl Lindsey; two sisters-in-law, Jeanette McClellan and Lida Lindsey and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM, Friday, November 28, 2025, at Watkins Funeral Home with Ricky Dudgeon officiating. Burial will follow in the Claggett Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 9:30 AM, Friday at the funeral home.
