Hello all! With many of you being new to our page, I wanted to take a few minutes to give a warm welcome and a bit of back story on our farm and how Zoga Goat Yoga was founded.
The farm was established in 1996 by my parents who settled on this 7 acre piece of heaven. Both my parents studied and work in the Agriculture industry. My sister and I both have followed suite. As 12th and 13th generation farmers, my family takes pride in providing food from our farm to your families dinner plates.
A typical day on our farm is spent tending to the array of animals we have. Of course there is the goats🐐 but tucked away there are more furry and feathery friends to say hi! We raise cattle, pigs, goats, chickens, ducks, geese, guineas, broiler chickens, and we have one spoiled dog named Lucy. Aside from our livestock, our family is kept extremely busy during the fall and spring as we plant ,grow, and harvest corn and soybeans. Our family also thoroughly enjoys gardening, growing our own food, and preserving.
Animals became our passion, hobby, and entertainment. One goat became two, two became four, and after a few short years of breeding we have 44 goats on the farm. This is how Zoga Goat Yoga was founded in 2019. Zoga Goat Yoga is an outdoor yoga studio providing goat yoga classes and hosting private. We hired an instructor who is nothing short of amazing, (Danielle)! We decided to share the joy and happiness of our animals and the country air with all of you. Our family enjoys bringing smiles to peoples faces, hearing the laughter, and seeing the happiness our farm can bring to so many. Come find some serenity and relax with us!
Zoga Goat Yoga got its name through the goats names. Each and every goat on the farm has a name that starts with a Z. As crazy as it sounds, it’s all in the fun of naming new babies based off their personalities and characteristics!
Here at Zoga Goat Yoga we are here to provide a breath of fresh air, cuddles with goats, or even a peaceful change of pace from your everyday hustle and bustle to spread positivity, kindness, and love.
