Private Pay Nursing Services
If your loved one requires more advanced medical care, we’re here to help. Unlike traditional home care services, our private nurses provide one-on-one advanced care to ensure the safety and health of your loved one. Our private duty nurses are either registered nurses (RNs) or licensed practitioner nurses (LPNs). Private Duty Nursing Services (PDN)
PDN is medically necessary continuous, substantial and complex nursing services provided by a licensed nurse (RN or LPN) in the patient’s home. Private Duty Nursing is a benefit covered by NC Medicaid and some private insurance. Intellectual and Developmental Disability Services (I/DD)
Under Medicaid Innovation Waiver Services, we provide the following intellectual developmental disability services: Community Living and Support, Community Networking, Respite Services, and Integrated Care.

What a wonderful afternoon at our festive Holiday Open House today! 🎄✨ It was fantastic to see so many smiling faces and share some festive cheer with our caregivers, clients, and our amazing team.

The food was delicious, but the true highlight was the incredible team camaraderie and the sense of community we all shared. Everyone had a great time, and we're so grateful to everyone who made this event a success.

AssistedCare at Home and Eldercare At Home are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Kenneth S. White, MD, as their new Physician Liaison. Dr. White brings over four decades of medical expertise, including a distinguished career in plastic and reconstructive surgery, to his new role aimed at strengthening clinical partnerships and enhancing patient care coordination across southeastern North Carolina.

A graduate of Wake Forest School of Medicine, Dr. White completed his residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester and has been board-certified in plastic surgery for over 40 years. He previously served as a surgeon at Wilmington Plastic Surgery and held affiliations with Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. White is recognized for his humanitarian work, having led numerous medical mission trips to the Dominican Republic and serving as Chairman of the Board for Medical Ministry International, a nonprofit dedicated to global healthcare access .

In his new position, Dr. White will act as a vital link between AssistedCare at Home, Eldercare At Home, and the broader medical community. His responsibilities will include fostering collaborative relationships with referring physicians, streamlining care transitions, and promoting integrated care models that support aging in place.

“Dr. White’s clinical insight and deep commitment to compassionate care make him an ideal advocate for our mission,” said Russell Herring, CEO of AssistedCare and Eldercare at Home. “His leadership will enhance our ability to deliver seamless, patient-centered services to seniors and families throughout the region.”

Dr. White expressed enthusiasm about his new role, stating, “Joining AssistedCare and Eldercare allows me to continue serving patients in a meaningful way—by ensuring they receive the coordinated, high-quality care they deserve in the comfort of their homes.”
