🍽️❤️ Something exciting is coming to Five Counties! ❤️🍽️

We are thrilled to announce that Meals on Wheels will be available soon, starting in May!

ICAP’s 60’s Plus Dining, has recently expanded services to the 5-county area in Western South Dakota. ICAP is a community-based non-profit organization that supports seniors and individuals in need, and we are honored to partner with them to help bring this service to our community.

At Five Counties Nursing Home, caring for our community and our elderly population has always been at the heart of what we do. This program is designed to support elderly individuals who may need assistance with meals, helping them maintain independence, health, and connection.

🍲 Warm, nutritious meals delivered right to your door
🤝 Financial assistance will be available for those who qualify

Whether it’s for yourself, a loved one, or someone in the community, we can’t wait to serve you in this new way.

It's PROM Week and we are holding our own Prom King and Queen selection! This week we will be voting for our very own "Senior" Prom King and Queen here at Five Counties! A poll for each category will be posted inviting our community to participate as peers and place a vote. Our prom may look a little more like coffee and cookies with a game of Rumikub and early turn-in and that's how we roll! Keep watch for our polls to place your vote!

We are hosting a Prom Walk-Through for our high schoolers to come in and let us see the beautiful girls in their dresses and the handsome guys all decked out at 3:30 on Saturday. Always a fun time for our residents!!

🌸🐰 Hoppy Easter from Five Counties! 🐰🌸

What a wonderful day celebrating Easter with our residents, staff, and community! 💛 Our halls were filled with smiles, laughter, and a whole lot of springtime cheer.

The Easter Bunny made a special visit 🐇, bringing joy to everyone and helping us create some unforgettable moments. From fun decorations to sweet treats and meaningful connections, it truly was a day to remember! 🌷

We are so grateful for our amazing team who always go above and beyond to make days like this special for our residents. And to our residents and families—thank you for celebrating with us and making our community so bright.

💐 Moments like these are what it’s all about. 💐

🐰🌷 Easter Event Update 🌷🐰

We are still planning to hold our Easter event inside due to the weather. We’re looking forward to a fun and festive time with everyone!

Please use your best judgment and discretion if you plan to attend, as travel conditions may vary. Your safety is our top priority.

Our walkways have been cleared, but street parking is very wet—please use caution when arriving. We kindly ask that everyone enter through the main door by the nurses station, as we have extra rugs down to help keep things safe and dry.

We hope to see you there and celebrate together! 💛🐣

Our residents have been helping us get ready for the big Easter egg hunt tomorrow! We can’t wait to see all the smiling faces! Hunt starts at 2 pm outside, crafts, treats, raffle and a special surprise inside afterwards. 🐇💗💜

Hear ye, hear ye!! We have an incredible, amazing, wonderful collection of items in our RAFFLE EVENT!! Tickets are $5.00 and can be purchased from Kathy in the Business Office at FCNH from now until April 30, 2026!! This gorgeous afghan was made by Kathy Peterson for this fundraiser! Countless hours were spent in creating this heirloom! Thank you Kathy! We will have four winners and the categories will be the beautiful afghan, 2 separate one hour massage certificates with Kim's Touch of Heaven Massage and one loaded tote filled with merch from the Kokomo!! Thank you to our supporters and to those who donated and best of luck to those who choose to raffle!!! 🥳
