When we asked the residents what inspires them when we mention the word 'positive,' they said big smiles, kindness, and happiness- all of which embody Yves. He is also extremely hardworking. Our residents, families, and associates are coming together to create Artis Comfort Boxes – personalized keepsake boxes filled with favorite memories, photos, and meaningful items that bring comfort and joy.

Each box tells a story, nurtures the senses, and reminds our residents that they are safe, loved, and treasured. We’ll keep creating these together throughout the year – because comfort and play are gifts that never go out of season.

We were all incredible happy to celebrate our Director of Community Integration Marina Bardsley. Marina has been a foundational member of Artis Senior Living West Shore for the past 8 years. She has combined her skills as an incredible nurse in memory care with her creativity and innovation in caring for for the spirit of each person. Marina exceedingly goes above and beyond to connect with our residents and help them transition into the community. Throughout their journey she supports the families and residents. She provides meaninful education and support for our associates while celebrating their successes and milestones. Thank you Marina for always finding ways to touch all of our hearts!

Our Directors of Community Integration have a role focused entirely on ensuring residents are welcomed with intention, care plans are aligned holistically, families are communicated with proactively, and Artis associates are supported with robust dementia education from day one.

In other words, they’re the Directors of helping people belong.
