Welcome to the team, Dr. Jolinda! 🎊
Dr. Jolinda Kiel grew up in Smithville, Missouri, and attended Smithville High School, where she was a multi-sport athlete. She played basketball and softball and competed in discus, developing an early passion for medicine.
She attended Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training. In her final year, Dr. Kiel was selected as Head Athletic Training Student, gaining experience managing fellow students, coordinating care between athletes and physicians, and learning directly under the guidance of the sports medicine team. She remained at Harding for three additional years, completing an internship while earning a Master of Science in Education with an emphasis in Exercise Science. During this time, she met her husband, and after marrying, they returned to Kansas City, Missouri.
With her athletic training background, Dr. Kiel has worked in a variety of settings, including orthopedic offices, college athletics, high school and secondary school athletics, and club sports. After becoming a mother and navigating the demanding schedules of athletic training,
she pursued a path that allowed her to provide more holistic, comprehensive care to patients of all ages. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in
Overland Park, where she was honored with the Service Award for her commitment to excellent patient care.
While she enjoys serving athletes both on the sidelines and in the clinic, her journey into motherhood has shaped her desire to care for women through all stages of life, as well as babies, children, and entire families.
In her free time, Dr. Kiel enjoys camping with her family, visiting local coffee shops, and creating healthy new recipes. She and her family are proud members of the Northland community and are actively involved with Northland Christian School.
