We had an amazing time supporting the 2026 HOSA Leadership Conference in Wichita! 🎉
This year’s conference welcomed a record number of students and featured new pilot events, along with hundreds of workshops and expo booths. It was incredible to see so many young people exploring careers in healthcare and building skills that will shape their futures.
A special highlight for us—our Workforce Development Program Manager, Josh Vargo, had the honor of presenting an award to a student. Moments like that remind us why supporting HOSA – Future Health Professionals matters so much.

For more than 50 years, the American Network of Community Options and Resources (ANCOR) has championed the essential role service providers play in enriching the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). We’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of such an important and meaningful conversation.
Nanette Perrin, Senior Director of Long Term Care and LifeShare at Sunflower Health Plan, was honored to present during the ANCOR Member Webinar, Compliance in Community Integration & Provider Practice: Insights from Individuals with Lived Experience, alongside Whitney Downing, Ricardo Hernandez, and Perri Spencer from the Kansas Council on Developmental Disabilities (KCDD).
This powerful session highlighted how Kansas IDD providers are moving from policy to practice strengthening compliance with the HCBS Final Settings Rule—grounded not only in regulatory expectations, but in the voices of people receiving services. Their lived experiences helped illuminate what’s working, where barriers remain, and what autonomy, dignity, and true community inclusion look like in everyday life.
