Kambo has been used by several tribes of the Amazon region for centuries, and some evidence shows it may date back to as early as the Classical Mayan civilization. Kambo is the secretion of the Giant Green Monkey Tree Frog, which is also known as Phyllomedusa Bicolor. The species is arboreal and nocturnal and can be found in the Amazon Rainforest. The skin secretions from this frog are collected and used in a Kambo treatment.

The skin secretions, known as Vacina do sapo (frog vaccine), contain over 100 different peptide compounds. The Italian scientist Vittorio Erspamer, who has been nominated for 2 Noble Prizes and best known for discovering the neurotransmitter Serotonin, described Kambo as a ‘fantastic chemical cocktail with potential medical applications, unequalled by any other amphibian’. Another Review

I have been getting regular massages with Mike all summer and my body feels incredible

The more information I learn about Somatic Release - the more I understand about negative emotions, trauma, and toxins getting trapped in our Fascia and Tissues.
