Holiday cheer was in full swing at Delmar Gardens on the Green!

Brunch with Santa at Chesterfield Villas was such a special way to celebrate the season.

The room was filled with holiday music as Matt Davis played the piano, setting the perfect backdrop for a relaxed and joyful morning together. Everyone enjoyed a delicious brunch featuring chicken à la king over warm biscuits, scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage—and of course, a sweet finish with peppermint ice cream.

Simple moments like these, shared over good food and music, are what make the holidays so memorable at Chesterfield Villas.

The Olympic spirit showed up in a big way at Delmar Gardens of Meramec Valley during our first-ever Senior Winter Olympics !

Residents chose countries to represent and kicked off the day with an opening parade that set the tone for lots of smiles, cheering, and friendly competition. Our adaptive games — from the Ski Shoot to the snowball relay and even an over-the-head snowball toss — brought out plenty of laughs and determination.

The excitement carried through to the closing ceremonies, where medals were awarded to Patsy representing Zimbabwe (bronze), Mary representing Mexico (silver), and Carol representing Jamaica (gold).

And it wasn’t just the athletes who made the day special. Our enthusiastic cheerleaders added so much energy and encouragement, creating an atmosphere full of support and celebration from start to finish.

A joyful day, a proud community, and a reminder that fun has no age limit.

Garden Villas residents gathered for a beautiful Hanukkah celebration filled with tradition, connection, and great food.

The meal featured matzo ball soup, gefilte fish salad, slow-roasted beef brisket, honey-glazed chicken, broccoli, buttered carrots, and crispy potato latkes served with applesauce—followed by sweet sufganiyot to end the evening.

Two of our residents helped lead the meal and brought smiles all around as everyone joined in singing “I Have a Little Dreidel.” One resident shared a sweet memory of singing the song as a little girl during Hanukkah, making the moment even more special.

We are grateful to celebrate these meaningful traditions together and wish everyone a happy and peaceful Hanukkah.

What a night to remember at the Delmar Gardens of Chesterfield staff holiday party!

From great music and dancing to specialty drinks, delicious food, sweet desserts, raffle prizes, and nonstop fun at the 360 photo booth—this was truly a celebration filled with joy and gratitude.

We were honored to have Gabe Grossberg, our President and CEO, join us to personally recognize our long-tenured team members—many of whom he has known and hired over the years. The room absolutely erupted when Jackie Thomas was announced as our 2025 Employee of the Year, celebrating an incredible 40 years with Delmar Gardens. Jackie is so much more than our administrative assistant and receptionist—she’s a trusted friend, a steady presence, and our beloved prayer warrior. We are deeply grateful for her heart and dedication.

Congratulations as well to Tony Lang on 30 years—always hardworking, always smiling, and always bringing laughter to our housekeeping team—and to Tony Bradley on 25 years in maintenance, whose humility and strong work ethic never go unnoticed.

A heartfelt thank-you to our friends from Headquarters, Pathways, and MedResources for helping serve, to our amazing Dietary team for preparing such a wonderful meal, to Activities for hosting a fantastic evening, and to Maintenance for transforming our home into a space filled with celebration and love.

We are so thankful for this team, for another meaningful year, and for the opportunity to celebrate together. Wishing everyone a happy holiday season and a wonderful New Year!

🎟️ Tickets, tickets, tickets, please! 🎟️

Our residents enjoyed a special evening out to see the lights at Wonder Lights Christmas. We shared an early dinner together before hopping on the bus for a truly magical experience.

For some of our residents, it had been years since they’d seen Christmas lights. One resident has lived with us for five years, and this was their very first outing beyond the community — a moment that made the night even more meaningful.

Every detail was thoughtfully planned, right down to each resident receiving a personalized souvenir ticket with their name, the date of the trip, and the location of the lights, hole-punched just like The Polar Express. Smiles were everywhere, and nearly everyone kept their festive hats on for the entire ride.

It was an evening filled with wonder, joy, and memories we’ll hold close. It's moments like these that fill our hearts with joy to have the privilege of caring for our dear residents.
