Did you know that women are more likely to experience different symptoms than men when having a heart attack? Both men and women experience common heart attach symptoms like:

• Chest pain or pressure.
• Pain in the upper body, one or both arms, back, neck, jaw or stomach.
• Nausea and or lightheadedness.
• Breaking out in a cold sweat or sweating.
• Shortness of breath.

Women also can experience additional symptoms listed below. If you, or a loved one, is experiencing any of these symptoms, go to the nearest emergency department or call 911 immediately.

Yesterday, we lit the Love Light Tree, a tradition that brings our community together in hope, remembrance and holiday spirit. Third grader Oakley Propst shared Christmas carols that made the evening even more special. You can take part in this tradition by dedicating a light in honor or memory of someone special with a $5 donation, or lighting the Christmas Star with a donation of $25 or more. Our department leaders showed up with big energy at this year’s Leadership Retreat!

From Adult Field Day fun and a “Shake It Off” dance break to pitching big ideas in our Shark Tank challenge, this team showed what creativity and collaboration look like.

Most importantly, this day reminded us how lucky we are to have such passionate, talented people guiding our organization.
