Just out of curiosity we sent our hormone lab work up to a patients insurance to see what it would cost. Often we are asked why Journey Wellness does not take insurance and this is why.
$1900! And this is a Blue Cross Blue Shield Gold plan which is describes as "the best".
Our initial hormone work up is $280 and includes labs and visit with a board certified provider.
It is important to seek out experienced hormone providers for more reasons than one.
