It is important to be mindful and take steps to care for your heart 's condition In this extreme heat we've been having. WHY? BECAUSE:

🩺 1. Stay Hydrated * Why? Because dehydration thickens the blood and makes the heart work harder.

🌞 2. Avoid Outdoor Activities During Peak Heat * Why? Because strenuous activity in high heat increases heart rate and body temperature, which can strain the heart.

🧊 3. Stay Cool * Why? Because heat can cause blood vessels to dilate and blood pressure to drop, which is risky if you have heart conditions.

💊 4. Manage Medications Carefully * Why? Because ome heart medications (like diuretics, beta-blockers) can affect how the body handles heat or fluids.
