What to look for when searching for a gym that feels like the right place for you:
1) Look at price. Does the cost work within your budget and are there options for payment that meet your needs?
2) Is the gym in a good location that is convenient for you? Is it close to either your home or your work or both?
3) Are the staff knowledgeable and friendly and willing to help you make a decision that works best for you or do they try to “upsell” you or change prices to entice you?
4) Is the gym clean and well organized?
5) Is there equipment that is or has been out of order/broken for an extended period of time?
6) Are people filming content there? Filming others? Does the gym have a feeling of Inclusion or exclusion? Are there cliques?
7) Are the Fitness professionals qualified? Are there a variety of options for trainers and instructors?
😎 Are there classes for all ages and abilities?
9) Have they invited you to try it out to see if it’s a good fit for you?
10) Do they have saunas, steam, showers, lockers, towels, etc?
11) Is the gym in a safe location and do you feel safe there? Are they welcoming to all?
12) Is It a chain or Is It locally owned?
13) Do they accept or listen to customer feedback?
