Here at the Cedars, we provide mature, Christian living. We are a community nonprofit organization run by the churches in our community through board members appointed from these churches. The Cedars was established in 1983 and has continued to expand and flourish, adding a new wing in 2000. We are extremely proud of our community, which provides us with over one hundred volunteers who contribute their time to assist us and our members in every way possible

The Cedars is located in the heart of Cedar creek Township, just ten minutes Northeast of Fort Wayne, Georgetown, and Auburn. We are halfway between Leo/Cedarville and Grabill on the Leo/Grabill Road. Happy Social Service month to our new Social Service Director Tiffany. She is excited to get to know all of our wonderful residents and families. Her passion for being a calming, supportive presence in the elderly community makes her a wonderful addition to our team.
A little bit about her—she loves all things Disney, enjoys traveling, and cheering on her favorite team the Bengals. She is also excitedly preparing to welcome her first baby in the next month or so—such a special time!

This week was filled with laughter, festive cheer, and a whole lot of green! From fun activities and decorations to delicious treats, everyone enjoyed celebrating together. It’s always special to see so many smiles and moments of joy shared throughout the facility.

Our community is proud to announce the opening of our new Memory Care Unit, thoughtfully designed to support individuals living with memory loss. The specialized space focuses on compassionate care, personalized routines, and engaging programming that helps resident stay connected active and supported every day. Through meaningful activities, cognitive engagement and a warm, secure environment. Our team is dedicated to helping each resident, maintain dignity, purpose, and quality of life.
