Welp off to the lab I go cause the nurse practitioner couldn’t get blood out of me. And I’ve never had anyone freak out because I tried to watch them draw blood. She was like you’re going to flinch if you watch me please lean back and close your eyes. I’ve never had anyone ever ask me to do that EVER.

The ultrasound showed a few slightly swollen lymph nodes under my jaw but nothing of note. The allergy test on my arms he said was nothing significant. So they sent me to the lab, done in 10 min with a butterfly needle. They said next time to just have them send me to them first. Lol they definitely had better luck getting my blood… 🩸

Don’t mind the hair I tried to pull it back for the picture and I know I look homely but anyway I wanted to show everyone a visual that this is what I’m dealing with.

Woke up with a bad (almost migraine headache) the more it swells the worse the headache, shooting ear pain, jaw pain and everything that’s swollen is itching. The other side is almost as bad as this one. Then there is the under the chin area my whole neck area is sore today. Especially under the chin and below.

Hi everyone it’s Miley I have been quiet on here lately. I just wanted to let everyone know what is going on with me and why I have been MIA lately and why I have canceled so much and haven’t rescheduled some of the appointments yet.

So around the end of January I started having terrible ear pain in both ears and what I can only describe as tree frogs constantly singing and migraines on top of that. That supposedly was the beginning on a double ear infection. Well a steroid shot a decongestant shot and a round of antibiotics later. I wasn’t really any better except the migraines had lessened. Well that was also around the time my friend Joyce and I went on our cruise to the Bahamas. I managed with the help of Ibuprofen during our trip. About a week after getting back my ears flared up big time and I was so exhausted I could barely work on more than a couple people before I just couldn’t function properly. That particular Monday I woke up with my ear bleeding and went back to the doctor. They couldn’t find a reason for my ear to bleed gave me another steroid shot, did blood work tested me for mono, CMV and did a blood panel. Everything was normal. Went back to the doctor because now not only did I have all the symptoms above but now around my ears, my jawline, both sides of my neck and the top of my shoulders were swollen, sore and stiff and my migraines come and go 2-4x a week. The doctor again thought it was an impacted sinus infection gave me another round of antibiotics, steroid shot and a congestion shot also a congestion med to take at home.

After the 10 days were up I was still no better so I booked an appointment with an ENT I had that appointment this week. He is stumped. My ears are clear which makes absolutely no sense with how they hurt and shoot pains. So he sent me for a neck ultrasound and This week I get the results of that and they are also doing allergy testing. I don’t think this has anything to do with allergies but I’ve needed one of those for years so I’m ok with that either way. That’s all I know for now!

So with all that said I am still working however most days I can only manage about 3 appointments before I am so exhausted I just can’t do any more. I have been having to cancel a couple times a week because I will wake up with a migraine and everything swollen up huge. I will do everything in my power to be able to work and not cancel out but when I get migraines I just can’t function. I can handle muscle pain and pain from other things but migraines is one thing I can’t function through. If you have them you know exactly what I’m talking about. I do the absolute bare minimum those days and that’s it. I mostly stay in bed because it hurts so bad.

I don’t want to discourage booking or rebooking because I need to work however, I felt like everyone deserved an explanation as to why I’ve been so difficult the last few months.

If you do happen to book on a day I have to cancel most weeks Casey can get you usually on the same day if you’re ok going to her.

I want to thank all my clients for being so understanding and hopefully we can get to the bottom of what this is soon and get me back to work full time. I will keep y’all updated and if I have openings on a day I feel good enough to work I will post them on here.

Ok for y’all that didn’t know I (Miley) have been sick with fluid buildup on my ear drums, neck pain & swollen lymph nodes for weeks now it started a few weeks before my vacation got a bit better but came back with a vengeance last week. It has been causing migraines. Now 3 doctor visits later, I have tested negative for dang near everything my bloodwork is perfect and now they are hoping it’s a major sinus infection that isn’t draining.

So as of today, I feel slightly better but still having lots of ear pain, very weak and tired. I can’t eat much because chewing causes my ears to hurt worse. I have to wear cotton in my ears outside (air causes sharp pains) or around lots of noise.

I do plan on working this week however, it will be a few days before I start rescheduling everyone that I’ve canceled. I want to make sure how much I can handle before adding more to my days. I don’t wanna overdo it and make this worse again.

Fingers crossed hopefully I’m on the mend now! Migraines, Ear & neck pain is the worst.

If anyone has been trying to get ahold of me (Miley), I drowned my phone then fried my phone while on my Bahama cruise this weekend😬 and haven't had one since Saturday morning. But I have barley had service since leaving port Thursday. If you have called or texted my personal phone between Thursday and until my new one comes in Friday please resend that message to my FB page (I'll only be checking it at night) or the spa cell 931-629-6509. I'll be using it until my new one comes in.
I just hope all my pictures saved to the cloud during the time I did have service at Princess Cays. 🤞
