Meet: Christian

Christian joined the BFit Challenge in January of 2025 after getting engaged! He had one year to transform his body before the big day and he trusted owner of and oh boy did they deliver!

23.3lbs down
6.5% Body Fat down

Strength is up, fat is down and he has returned to how he felt when he a multi sport athlete in high school!

💡🔦 Member Monday Spotlight 🔦💡
Meet: Mindy Mindy Schnare

To say Mindy has had her challenges on her fitness journey is a significant understatement! From back issues to a really troublesome knee. Elbow and trap tension and a collapsing arch are just a few things she has had to deal with! 🤕

That is until she found BFit! In a few short months of working with Mindy has lost over 15lbs, gained a lb of lean muscle tissue and significantly improved her strength and mobility! 💪🏻

Given all of her injuries it would be so easy to understand why she would put little effort into exercise when all it has done in the past is cause more problems but she shows up and works her A$$ off every single session and the results speak for themselves! 👊🏻

Mindy told Brett in one of her first sessions together that “my doctor said I will never run again.” Brett responded with “I accept the challenge and can’t wait to see you run again!” So stay tuned for the day Mindy runs as a result of all of her hard work! 🏃🏻‍♀️💨

Meet: Vicki & Becky

Vicki joined us back in August! Excited to take back control of her health! Like many of us, we set out on a career, have kids and life gets going so fast and before we know it we haven’t carved out any time for ourselves!

Vicki set out to change that! She quickly grew to love working with BFit Trainer Lindsey ( ) that she recruited her sister Becky to join her!

The past 2 months they have been training together and they are a fixture in our facility! Exemplifying consistency and hard work during each one of their training sessions!

We are all excited to see all of their amazing progress!

365 Days!

1 year ago and walked into a new adventure with so much uncertainty in their lives!

Pregnant with twins and a 1 year old at home, they took a chance on a larger space to grow the BFit community but most importantly to help people like you “Build Your Best Body”

In one year we added challenges, new programs and new trainers! It’s been a roller coaster of emotion but we wouldn’t have it any other way!

We are continued to be amazed and humbled each day as we watch new people sign our commitment wall. When they etch their name on our wall it’s a symbol of both theirs and our commitment to helping them achieve their health and fitness goals!

So to those of you who have signed our wall, THANK YOU! Your support and trust in us means more than you know!

Meet: Paula

Paula is more than just a traditional member, she’s also Mom to BFit Owner

She has also been instrumental in our growth and development! She didn’t know it at the time but in April of 2020, Brett and Maddy converted Paula’s shed into a home gym which spawned the first BFit location!

Well as we approach October 21st, the 1 year mark at our current location. We wanted to look back to where it all began! 5.5 years later 2 moves to larger locations! Paula had seen it all and has completed several training sessions along the way! After a grueling injury and recovery she’s still here to remind everyone that Mom’s and Nonna’s can be strong too 💪🏻

Workout Wednesday 💪🏻

Here is BFit Member, Timmy working on his athleticism and explosive power 💣💥

Timmy is a lacrosse player who would like to increase his speed and shot power. So this exercise has him bound away from the wall with weight. Catch, control and decelerate the weight while on that outside leg and then transition back off that leg towards the wall with lateral explosiveness and trunk rotation!

This exercise requires a high level of skill but will significantly increase his single leg lateral ground force allowing him to change direction even faster while playing lacrosse and with a 10lb weighted rotation significantly increase his trunk rotation and shot speed especially when he gets to put both feet on the ground!

Trainer Tip: This is also one of the best exercise for all skaters, roller ballers and ice hockey players as they use lateral force and glute medius strength to increase speed on the rink ❄️⛸️🛼

Trainer Tip Tuesday 🧠

According to the National Institute of Health (NIH) who preformed a study with 66 males within a few years of 30 years old. They divided the men into 3 groups! Training independently, training with a workout partner & training with a trainer.

Over the 12 week study ONLY the group trained by a trainer saw 4 categorical improvements over the others and that was in fat reduction, squat weight increase, adherence to a nutritional plan and prevention of injury.

According to the NIH in there own words: “Our results indicate that a fitness personal trainer service is effective in expediting the process of achieving fitness goals in a relatively safe manner”

Fitness Friday 💪🏻

BFit Member, Timmy is an 8th grader who is an elite Lacrosse player! He started training at BFit to improve on 3 things:
💪🏻 Strength
🏃🏼💨 Speed
🥍 Shot Speed

Since June he is up 2.5lbs of lean muscle tissue!

He is performing a Single Arm Dumbbell Bench Press with a Single Arm Banded Row. An exercise like this is used to help develop core strength through contradicting unilateral movement while also preforming core stabilization! Both of which are essential in the development of speed and power in overhand throwing sports like baseball, lacrosse or football!

Our staff of knowledgeable and certified personal trainers while help you build a program to reach your goals just like we are doing for Timmy!
