We know the holidays can be a tough time, especially after losing someone close to you. To try and help you through this season, will be hosting a special group called Surviving the Holidays here at our Hospice House on Saturday, November 22nd from 9-11am.

This particular session will be geared towards adults, as we will have one for the kiddos starting in December.

The Community School Rental Assistance Program provides families and students enrolled in community schools with emergency financial assistance if they are at risk of eviction, losing housing, or are already homeless and need help securing a new rental unit. Learn more below:

The Local Behavioral Health Authority (LBHA) will be hosting an Adult Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training on November 20, 2025. See the details below for more information.

Mental Health First Aid is an evidence-based program that teaches participants how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adults. This interactive training helps build skills to provide initial support and connect individuals to appropriate care.

The holidays can be especially hard on children after losing someone close to them. We will be hosting a Surviving the Holidays session specifically for kids aged 7 to 16 here at the Hospice House on December 6th at 9am.

Activities will include various crafts and hands-on experiences interspersed with talks about how they can work through their grief during this complicated season.

**No cost to attend, but registration is required to participate.**

Veterans, active duty service members, and their families are all welcome to attend. This event is free and open to the public. Complimentary lunch will be provided by Mission BBQ. Disabled American Veterans (DAV) will be on site all day to assist with claims filing & processing!
The Pharmacy at PJ Bean will be hosting a free vaccination clinic on-site!
