We're immensely thankful to the Optimist Club of Mechanicsville for their generous support of our youngest patients. In August, the Club hosted the Hope & Harmony Dinner, Dance & Game Night, raising an incredible $15,000 to enhance pediatric care in the Emergency Department at MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital.

Accepting the donation on behalf of the hospital were Dr. James Damalouji, Vice President of Medical Affairs and Chief Medical Officer; Nathan Evans, Vice President of Operations; and Jennifer Alvey, Director of Nursing, Emergency Department.

Thank you to the Optimist Club of Mechanicsville for your continued commitment to making a difference in our community! Your optimism and compassion truly inspire hope and harmony for all. ❤️
