What an incredible honor it was for Hickory Terrace Assisted Living to be part of Levelland’s Centennial Celebration!
We were especially proud to have had Two of our veteran residents participate in the parade—true heroes who represent the strength, sacrifice, and history that make our community so special.
A truly unforgettable highlight was seeing Mr. Lloyd Parker, a World War II veteran, serve as Parade Marshal. Mr. Parker is the definition of humility and kindness, and it was a privilege to watch him be recognized in such a meaningful way. His entire family reflects that same warmth and grace—it’s something you feel the moment you meet them.
We also want to recognize the incredible team members who showed up and represented Hickory so beautifully:
Mandy Tompkins, our Activity Director
Lauri Galavan, Care Coordinator
Stephanie Lewis, Head Cook
Each of them played a part in making the day run smoothly, and we are so grateful for their heart, energy, and dedication—not just at events like this, but every single day with our residents.
For 30 years, Hickory has been proud to be part of the Levelland community—giving local seniors a place to age with dignity, stay connected, and continue being part of the town they love.
Here’s to the next 100 years, Levelland!
