Job description
In this role as Molecular Diagnostic Analyst Covid-19 you are responsible for performing molecular tests. Together with a team of laboratory professionals, you will be responsible for a large flow of incoming samples, and performing PCR testing on these samples.
This is an extremely suitable opportunity for recent graduates, to gain hands on experience in a large lab.
In this position you will work alternating evenings, and mostly in night shifts.
Responsibilities
You will perform analyses for the diagnosis of Covid-19;
You will work with sample preprocessing, DNA / RNA extractions etc.;
You will perform PCR analyses independently and quickly;
You will report your results to your supervisor;
You will work under a strict quality system.
Profile
You have no laboratory related degree but already have experience with pipetting and PCR.
(Internship) experience with PCR and molecular biology is a plus, not a must;
You are able to maintain an overview in a busy environment;
You are reliable and able to work neatly and accurately according to regulations;
Flexible and available to work in day-, evening- and night shifts.
Education requirement:
Associate or Bachelor in Biological Science (at least 60 biology credits for lab technicians , 90 biology credit for technologist, no biology credits needed for lab aid)
Foreign degree is accepted.
