This February, we celebrate the history, culture, resilience, and contributions of Black leaders, innovators, caregivers, educators, and families who have shaped our communities and continue to inspire future generations. Black history is American history, today and every day. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn, listen, and honor the voices and stories that make our world stronger.

But then your asthma kicks in like ✨it’s me, hi! I’m the problem, it’s me.👋🏼✨

❄️ Cold air can tighten airways. Wearing a scarf or mask over your mouth and nose helps warm the air before you breathe it in!

❄️ Use a humidifier while indoors to minimize dust stirring up

❄️ Stick to your asthma action plan or reach out to your trusted Allied Physician to set one up! Keep your inhaler near by, and if symptoms start to increase, we can always adjust your plan to fit your current needs!

An early end to cold & flu season... pediatricians and parents everywhere can dream, right? 💭🤞🧡

When the brain fog is still fogging 2 years postpartum… like ma’am?? Are you okay?!

✨It’s hormonal, not imaginary.
After birth, estrogen and progesterone plummet fast. That hormonal crash can mess with memory, focus, and processing speed (hence the Bluey nails)

✨Sleep deprivation literally shrinks your brain (temporarily). Studies show new parents have changes in brain structure due to lack of sleep and stress. The good news? It’s reversible. The bad news? It takes time.

✨It can last YEARS, not weeks.
For many moms, brain fog sticks around 1–3 years postpartum, especially with chronic stress, broken sleep, and mental load. You’re not behind. Your brain is just still in recovery mode, and that’s ok! You’re evolving into the best version of YOU yet! 🤯🧡

If you’re pregnant, having a baby, or simply looking for a new pediatrician, our physicians and clinical staff can help you through the brain fog, mom brain, and ah-ha! moments!
