We are excited to announce the launch of a new initiative called Voices of Recovery: a project designed to reduce stigma, highlight real recovery stories, and connect our community to help and hope.
Too often, substance use and recovery are talked about in whispers, stereotypes, or headlines. This project is about changing that narrative by centering the people who live it, support it, and walk alongside it every day.
As we build and launch this project, there will be several ways to participate:
Attend a workshop: Join us in Lewes for a stigma-reduction workshop to learn more about substance use, recovery, and how to support people in your life.
Come to a virtual gallery event: Tune in, listen, and hold space for the stories being shared.
Share the project: Forward our emails, share posts, and invite others to attend. Sometimes one shared link is the bridge someone needs.
Share your story or art: As the project develops, we’ll share more information about how people with lived experience can contribute writing, poetry, or artwork to the exhibit.
