Are your stretches and back exercises not working any more? Hip and back problems are often linked.

The hip must maintain adequate range of motion in all directions so that “the back is not asked to do hip things”

Your body is designed to move and work. Active Release Therapy is just the beginning of healing. It turns down the noise of your pain so that you can get back to doing the things that you love.

As soon as you start feel better, you must load up and strengthen the muscles/soft-tissues in order to build resilience and correct the problem long term.

That may look like just walking, yoga, physical therapy, lifting weights for some…the list goes on. Pick something, movement is key.

We wanted to share a peer-reviewed study on Active Release Techniques that has recently been published in the Journal of Back and Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation!

This work was a collaborative effort between experts from chiropractic, physiotherapy, sonography, and multiple academic institutions and business institutions to explore the effects of ART.

We’re proud to see ART continuing to be validated through high-quality research and are excited for the growing body of evidence supporting its benefits!
