Henlopen Chiropractic Center was founded in 1992 by Dr. Debra Hobbs, chiropractor extraordinaire, devoted mother and "witchy woman". She graced the community with her exceptional care for over 20 years. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond anyone's control, she was forced to medically retire and turn her thriving practice over to me. With the help of my associate, Dr. Sheila Burek, our goal
is to continue the level of quality, safe and effective chiropractic care to our patients. Patients are treated primarily with the Sacro-Occipital Technique of Chiropractic. Also implemented are Activator, Thompson, Cox Flexion-Distraction, Acupuncture, extremity adjusting, visceral manipulation, craniopathy, massage therapy, ultrasound, and spinal decompression. Offering a variety of techniques allows us to individualize each patients care plan, taking into consideration age, condition, level of fitness, etc. We treat infants from 10 days old to seniors 100 years old! (It's usually better to start before you are 100 though.) Chiropractic care is the cheapest form of health care available. No expensive tests...no expensive drugs. We accept Medicare, personal health insurance, workman's compensation, and auto insurance. Tricare does not cover chiropractic services. Our fees are set so that they are very affordable if you have to pay out-of-pocket. And remember, Chiropractic is CORRECTIVE. You are making an investment in your future health and productivity...and that is REAL health insurance.
