HI FRIENDS! ππ» Well well well, itβs been a while (again)... another of my little blips where I go MIA on here for a bit. π«’ What can I say, Iβve been a busy bee and distracted by other things. ANYWAY... Iβm trying to jump back on the horse (or should we say camel, hehe ππ€) with my Hump Day Wisdom π« & Food For Thought π§ βοΈ posts. WOO HOO!

I knew exactly what quote I wanted to use, then realized I posted it a little over a year ago. It still really resonates with me, especially at this time of the year as we make the transition from autumn to the βdarker halfβ of the year and the leaves turn beautiful bright shades and begin to fall from the trees. SO, in honor to celebrate our first HDW post back, hereβs a throwback to one of my faves:

βBe like a tree and let the dead leaves drop.βπ -Rumi

I believe that in order to , we must do our best not to ignore our past or what is weighing us down, not serving us. Rather, we must observe and acknowledge it, practice ACCEPTANCE and appreciation for what it was and is, learn from it, LET IT BE, and LET IT GO, βLet the dead leaves drop.β

Here is a simple prompt to reflect/meditate/journal on: π‘Are there any dead leaves you can work toward letting drop? What are you holding onto that is not serving you? How do you visualize yourself feeling without this weight? How can you work toward letting go? (Ahem, meditation and journaling*)
