What's one of the biggest things that has been missing from the doctor/patient dynamic?

Modern medicine has removed the RELATIONSHIP aspect from the doctor/patient dynamic. In today's world, your doctor is basically a stranger you see on the rare occasion that you are sick.

A big reason why I chose Direct Care is because I wanted a relationship with my patients. I want everyone under my care to see me as a partner with them to achieve their best health. I never want a patient to hesitate to reach out to me or to feel rushed through an appointment.

What is Integrative Medicine? ⬇️

One of my passions is offering Integrative Medicine to my patients. Integrative Medicine emphasizes the relationship between physician and patient, focuses on whole-person, evidence-based care, and uses diverse therapeutic approaches to help patients achieve optimal health and well-being.

Each individual is a multi-faceted person with many layers. Rather than treating everyone with the same methods and treatments, I want to treat the individual and treat the whole person.
