Sandra Kay Webster Givens, 79 of Lewisburg, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Morgantown Care and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Thursday, March 6, 1947, the daughter of the late Robert Daniel Webster and the late Ada Pauline (Beliles) Webster. She was the wife of the late Newel Lee Givens.

Sandra spent most of her life as a bus driver for Logan County Schools and was also a hairdresser at Margery's in Lewisburg. She was also a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

Surviving are daughter, Elizabeth (Doug) Cooper of Lewisburg; son, Veron "Swerve" Hardison of Lewisburg; granddaughter, Brooklyn Cooper of Lewisburg; two grandsons, Caleb (Mamie) Hardison of Auburn and Robert Cooper of Lewisburg; great-granddaughter, Maeliza Hardison of Auburn.

Cremation was chosen with a celebration of life to take place at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, located at 954 Stacker Street; Lewisburg, KY 42256, with Bro. Tim Nugent officiating.

Norma Aileen Inscoe, 93 of Lewisburg, Kentucky passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026, at Med Center Health in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

She was born Thursday, June 30, 1932, the daughter of the late Clinton Hardison and the late Rachel "Aileen" Deal Hardison. She was the wife of the late Carson Inscoe.

Norma was a proud member of New Hope General Baptist Church. She was a loving homemaker, mother, and grandmother to everyone she met.

Surviving are daughter, Naomi (Scotty) Evitts of Greenville; three sons, Darrell (Carol) Inscoe of Lewisburg, Keith (Sherry) Inscoe of Lewisburg, Jeff (Tammy) Inscoe of Lewisburg; sister, Donna Peters of Russellville; brother, Harold Hardison of Lafayette, IN; ten grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by daughter, Emily Joyce Inscoe; sister, Phyllis Baker; two brothers, Wendell Hardison and J.C. Hardison.

A funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg; with Bro. Gary Embry officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Graveyard.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Thursday from 8:00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Patty Sue Porter, 88 of Dunmor, Kentucky passed away on Monday, March 10, 2026, at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville, Kentucky.

She was born Sunday, April 25, 1937, the daughter of the late John Thomas Arnold and the late Tillie McMillen Arnold. She was the wife of J.P. Porter of Penrod who survives.

Patty spent many years as an owner of the Patty and Julie Restaurant in Beechmont. She was also a member of Penrod Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband surviving are two sons, Johnathan (Dana) Porter of Beechmont, Jeremy (Martha) Porter of Franklin; two granddaughters, Brianne (Jacob) Fortney of Beechmont, Kamryn (Justin) Stuart of Russellville; three grandsons, Matt Porter of Evansville, Broc (Rebecca) Porter of Bowling Green, Logan Porter of Auburn; daughter-in-law, Pam Porter of Evansville; four great-granddaughters, Raelyn Fortney of Beechmont, Adalyn Fortney of Beechmont, Anna Grace Porter of Bowling Green, Evelynn Stuart of Russellville; great-grandson, Hayden Porter of Bowling Green.

Patty was preceded in death by son, Greg Porter; three sisters, Oleta Latham, Ava Nell Woodlee, Betty Long; three brothers, T. Arnold, Paul Arnold, Neal Arnold.

A funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Penrod Baptist Church located at 778 KY-949 Dunmor, KY; with Bro. Steve Rutherford officiating. Interment will be in Penrod Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 am until the time of the service on Saturday.

Susan Danks Gower, 79 of Lewisburg, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Med Center Health-Bowling Green in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

She was born Tuesday, February 4, 1947, the daughter of the late Alfred Harold Danks and the late Mary Maxine Brown Danks. She was the wife of the late Lawrence "Ed" Gower.

She was a bookkeeper at Gower Drug Store, a homemaker, and a longtime member of the Lewisburg United Methodist Church.

Surviving are Three Sons, Robbie Gower (Amber Lee) of Portland, OR, David Gower (Annie Welch) of Minneapolis, MN, Patrick Gower (Ayda Sarp) of Chicago, IL; Three Brothers, Morris "Brownie" Danks of Las Vegas, NV, Steve Danks of Russellville, David Danks of Lewisburg, KY; Sister, Patricia Danks Guion of Beechland, KY; Granddaughter, Scarlett Welch Gower of Minneapolis, MN; Grandson, Reuben Welch Gower, also of Minneapolis, MN.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son, John Ed Gower; and brother, Alfred "Shorty" Danks.

A graveside service will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at Beechland Cemetery located on Beechland Road, Lewisburg, KY; with Bro. Gary Ball officiating. Interment will also be in Beechland Cemetery.

REMODEL UPDATE:
Things have been moving right along with our new porch. The walls are up and it's been filled! Once we get some more pretty weather we hope to get the top and the ramps finished. We're so excited for the benefit this new addition will provide for our families, and we appreciate the patience while we get it done!

George Delwin Baugh

Delwin Baugh, 86 of Russellville, Kentucky passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at his residence.

He was born Friday, February 23, 1940, the son of the late George Baugh and the late Myrna Hayes Baugh.

During Delwin's time he honorably and proudly served his country in the National Guard. Soon after he was discharged from his duty, he became a stock clerk for Houchens Industries in Bowling Green. Delwin was also a proud member of Wiley's Chapel Church and attended The Rock Church at Epley.

Surviving are daughter, Rebecca (Kenneth) Howe of Greenville, KY; two sons, Thomas (Ashley) Baugh of Mobile, AL, John (Donna) Baugh of Russellville, KY; four granddaughters, Amanda (Anthony) Price of White House, TN, Brittany (Nick) Flora of Valerico, FL, Courtany (Timothy) Knight of Drakesboro, KY, Ashley(Dwayne) Vick of Owensboro, KY; two grandsons, Thomas (Megan) Baugh Jr. of Mission, TX, Jonathan Baugh of Russellville, KY; brother, Reggie (Shirley) Baugh of Lewisburg, KY; 7 Great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Delwin was preceded in death by two brothers, Douglas Baugh and Llewellyn Baugh.

A funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg; with Bro. John Day III officiating. Interment will be in Wiley's Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends after 5:00 pm on Monday until 8:00 pm and again from 8:00 am until the time of the service on Tuesday at Price Funeral Home, Inc.

Dr. Carl E. Borders, Jr.

Carl Edison Borders, Jr., M.D., 89, of San Francisco, California, died on February 19, 2026.

Carl was born in Lost City, Kentucky on August 17, 1936, to the late Carl E. Borders, Sr. and Elsie D. Borders of Rochester Hills, Michigan.

He graduated from Pontiac High School in 1954, took a year to work, build a sailboat, and earn his tuition. He then went on to the University of Michigan and graduated from its Medical School in 1964.

Upon completing his Internship in San Francisco, he was drafted into the United States Army with the rank of Captain and served a year in Vietnam with a MUST Unit operating in his chosen field of Orthopedics. While he was in Vietnam, his son, Carl E. Borders, III was born.

Upon completion of his military service, he settled in Winston Salem, North Carolina to complete his residency in Orthopedics. During his residency, his other son, Craig P. Borders was born.

Upon completion of his residency, he, his wife, Abby (Chapman), and boys moved to San Francisco where he opened his Orthopedic practice and became a full-time golfing Doctor and member of The Olympic Club where he remained a member until his death. He later became a founding member of The Palms Golf Club in La Quita, California so he could continue his passion in the winter months. He was an avid sailor who built his own sailboat in the winter of 1954-55 at the age of 18 and sailed on Silver and Loon Lakes near Pontiac, Michigan in the summer of 1955. Later, while in Medical School, he sailed a friend’s two mast Trimaran sailboat alone from Bay City to Traverse City thru Lake Huron, the Straits of Mackinaw and Lake Michigan. He raised his sons sailing on the San Francisco Bay and skiing in nearby Lake Tahoe with family and close friends.

He is survived by his sons, Carl E. Borders, III of Redondo Beach, California, and Craig P. Borders of Santa Barbara, California; three grandchildren Arden L Borders of Redondo Beach, Maxine S. Borders and Luke G. Borders of Santa Barbara, California; his siblings, Claudia M. Borders (Nancy) of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Sidney R. Borders (Lynne) of Shelby Township, Michigan, and Dale R. Borders (Janet) of Battle Creek, Michigan; nephews and niece, Matthew Borders, Bryan (Jennifer) Borders, Jeffrey (Chelsie) Borders, and Kate Borders; and his great niece and nephews, Elsie, Odin and Holden.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Price Funeral Home in Lewisburg, Kentucky. Visitation at the Funeral Home from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Beechland Cemetery in Beechland, Kentucky next to his parents and not far from where he was born.
