Jane Jolene Thompson

Jane Jolene Thompson, 68 of Lewisburg, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at her home.

She was born in Park Rapids, MN on Thursday, November 21, 1957, the daughter of the late William Thompson and the late Margaret Luft Thompson.

She was a homemaker and attended Tabernacle Independent Missionary Baptist Church in Lewisburg. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and soon-to-be great grandmother who loved the Lord and was proud of her faith.

Surviving are Daughter, Kelly Chute of Lewisburg,; two grandsons, Stuart (Riley) Russell of Bowling Green and Greyson Chute of Lewisburg; great granddaughter on the way, Charlee Novela Russell of Bowling Green; two brothers, Charlie Thompson of Walker, MN and Richard Brite of FL; two sisters, Linda Smith of Walker, MN and Marlys Lenarz of Royalton, MN.

Cremation was chosen with services to take place at the family plot in Akeley, MN at a later date.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Price Funeral Home, Inc. of Lewisburg, KY.

Dunmor- Opal "Grandmother" Margie Latham, 95, surrounded by her family, met Jesus at 10:15 pm on December 15, 2025. She was at Creekwood Nursing and Rehab in Russellville, Kentucky.

"Grandmother" or "Aunt Margie" was born Sunday, January 19, 1930, to Murray and Mary Porter.

She was a very active and faithful member of Dunmor Baptist Church for 76 years. She and her family never missed a service except for sickness or death.

Margie's most important duty was being a homemaker for her husband Kyle Latham (more than 50 years) and her four children. She was a fabulous cook using that talent for years at Lake Malone and Dunmor schools. Also, she was famous for her dumplings, rolls, & fried apple pies. Margie shared food with everyone in the community with a need. Another gift Margie had was sewing. She not only sewed for her family but, help quilt lots of quilts for the Covered in Love Quilt Ministry at Dunmor Baptist Church. Margie carried that "Porter" sense of humor all her life and didn't care to share it with anyone.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kyle Latham; daughter, Vickie Martin; six siblings; and granddaughter Amanda.

She is survived by her son, Ricky (Jeanette) Latham; two daughters, Lynn (Wayne) Joines and Sheila (Gerald) Heltsley; grandchildren Gery (Tonya) Joines, Serena (Jamie) Travis, Billy Latham, Jared (Rosie) Latham, Christy (Shawn) Whitis, Jason (Andera) Martin, Jackie (Brian) Hollis, Darnell (Mike) Fleener; great grands Drew and Lucas Travis, Elizabeth and Rachael Joines, Kyle (Shari) Latham, Sebastian Martin, Klaidyn, Kylie Tea, Maggie Jo, Victoria, Charlie, and Scarlette Hollis, Drew (Storm) Bratcher, Evan Whitis, and Reece Whitis; Five great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Nannie Gardener; special care takers, Gloria Thomas and Mike Porter; and several nieces and nephews who loved her very much.

A funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, December 19, 2025 at Price Funeral Home, Inc.; located at 252 E. Green Street, Lewisburg, KY 42256 with Bro. Rick Clark and Bro. Austin Weist officiating. Interment will follow in Dunmor Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Gery Joines, Bill Latham, Jared Latham, Shawn Whitis, Jamie Travis, Jason Martin, and Brian Hollis.

Sheila Jean Pierson

Sheila Jean Pierson, 70 of Lewisburg, Kentucky passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025, at her residence in Lewisburg.

She was born Monday, February 21, 1955, the daughter of the late Aldwin Keith Lyons and the late Dorothy Nell Pogue Lyons.

Sheila was a homemaker.

Surviving are daughter, Chastacee (Timothy) Gidcumb of Houston, TX; sister, Elaine (Clifford Ray) Harper of Lewisburg, KY; two nieces, Ashley Thomason of Cross Plains, TN and Nikki St Clair of Berkeley, WV; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by son, Walter Keith Shelton.

A graveside service will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Fitzhugh Cemetery located at 436 Peach Orchard Rd. Lewisburg, Kentucky 42256 with Bro. Timothy Gidcumb officiating.

Bobby Gene Kelley, 71 of Russellville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Hopkins Nursing & Rehab in Woodburn, Kentucky.

He was born Saturday, May 22, 1954, the son of tthe late Ellard Tronie Kelley and Lola Hardison Kelley.

Bobby was a fork lift operator at Carpenter Company and a member of Elk Lick Baptist Church.

He is survived by his son, Greg Kelley of Westmoreland, TN; two sisters, Patsy Kees of Lewisburg, Wanda Lou Johnson of Adairville; Five Brothers, Gary Kelley of Lewisburg, Gearld Kelley of Russellville, J.D. Kelley of Russellville, Charles Kelley of Bowling Green, and Winford Kelley of Kokomo, IN.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his brother, Denny Kelley.

A funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg; with Bro. Chris Odle officiating. Interment will be in Jarrett Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of the service on Wednesday at Price Funeral Home, Inc.

Jeffrey Carroll Hankins

Jeffrey Carroll Hankins, 64 of Dunmor, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at his home in Dunmor.

He was born Friday, December 8, 1961, the son of the late Joda Carroll Hankins and Eula Ramage Hankins, of Dunmor, who survives.

In addition to his mother, Jeff is survived by his daughter, Tasha (Mark) West of Greenville, KY; three sons, Colby Hankins of Dunmor, KY, Isaiah Hankins of Russellville, KY, and Austin Hankins of Russellville, KY; two sisters, Debbie (Scottie) Bibb of Springfield, TN and Kim (Mike) Smith of Lewisburg, KY; three grandsons; and several nieces and nephews;

He was preceded in death by brother, Mike Hunt.

A funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Price Funeral Home, Inc. located at 252 E. Green St., Lewisburg with Bro. Austin Weist officiating. Interment will be in Dunmor Cemetery.
