A familiar face, now in a new role.

Central Maine Healthcare welcomes Dr. Jessica Poulin as Director of Osteopathic Education for our Family Medicine Residency Program. Many in the community may already know her from her work at Central Maine Osteopathic Manual Medicine in Auburn.

After earning her undergraduate degree at MIT, she went on to complete medical school and her residency at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

At the core of her approach is listening, building trust, and taking time to understand each patient’s goals, concerns, and experiences.

Help us thank her for guiding the next generation of family medicine providers. 💙

Yesterday, Dr. Foote and Dr. Dunn performed the first minimally invasive robotic procedure in central Maine to treat BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia) a condition that affects older men.

Eight new CNAs ready to make an impact 💙

Congratulations to the latest graduates of Central Maine Healthcare’s Earn to Learn CNA training program.

These eight graduates completed an intensive, eight-week, state-approved program, that is free to the students. The program includes classwork, a skills lab and clinical experience.

CNAs play a vital role in patient care, often being the first and last person a patient interacts with during their visit.
