As winter brings icy conditions, falls become more common. Taking simple precautions can significantly reduce the risk. Here are some tips:

❄️ Point your feet out and spread your toes
❄️ Bend slightly and walk flat-footed with short steps
❄️ Keep your center of gravity over your feet
❄️ Hold your arms out for balance and avoid putting your hands in pockets
❄️ Carry only what you can safely manage and stay on treated pathways
